I ordered dinner for my family directly through the Wingstop app because DoorDash’s service fees are ridiculous. My order consisted of one 10-piece Classic Combo and two 6-piece Classic Combos. I picked up my order, grabbed the brown bag, filled my three drinks, and headed home. After unloading the food and handing everyone’s meal out, we realized my son’s 6-piece combo (half Lemon Pepper, half Hot) was completely missing. At that point I knew I was about to make another trip while my own food got cold. I called the store, and I’ll give credit where it’s deserves, the woman who answered the phone was polite and apologized. She simply asked me to bring the bag back, which I had no problem doing. When I got back to the store, I brought the original bag with the order sticker on it. Since I ordered through the app, my receipt was my email confirmation. I sat down to wait, and that’s when everything went downhill. I could hear employees in the kitchen saying things like, “Nah, where the other food at?” and “He needs to bring back everything.” Excuse me? Y’all expected me to drive all the way back to the restaurant with every meal I had already handed out to my hungry family just so you could verify your own mistake? Then take all that food back home cold? Nah. Then another employee told the cashier they couldn’t do anything because “everyone gets did like that” and “it be like that sometimes.” That’s when I asked for a manager because they had me completely messed up. I wasn’t asking for free food. I wasn’t trying to scam anybody. I’m an honest military veteran who simply wanted the meal I paid for but never received. Instead of taking ownership for the mistake, your first instinct was to treat me like I was trying to steal from the store. I even suggested checking your security cameras because I knew I was telling the truth. Nobody wanted to believe me until I pulled up my Ring camera footage from my kitchen showing me arriving home, unloading the food, and proving the missing combo was never in the bag. Funny how, immediately after seeing that video, a freshly made 6-piece combo magically appeared on the counter. So it really took home security footage for y’all to give me the food I had already paid for? That’s embarrassing. At the end, some employees tried to justify it by saying, “Some people be scamming and messed it up for the rest of y’all.” Respectfully, I don’t give a damn. Other people trying to scam your restaurant doesn’t give you the right to automatically treat honest customers like liars. Your inventory mistakes are not my responsibility, and your suspicion should never come before basic customer service. Mistakes happen. Missing food happens. What matters is how you handle it. Instead of making it right, your staff argued, accused, and only fixed the problem after I had to prove my innocence with video evidence. That’s not customer service. That’s poor management, unprofessional behavior, and a terrible way to treat paying customers. Do better.

Had an order accuracy issues. Had an issue where one shift manager didn’t past the message to the next shift manager. (That was a whole mess) Got in touch with the new GM Who took care of the customer. Original experience was a 0.5 After speaking with the GM 4.5 and the accuracy issue was corrected in full, all around. -Garrick
