Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- SDSamantha Duff4 days ago1.0This visit was the worse visit I have EVER experienced! Waited in the second line while they took 3 orders in the other line. Finally spoke up and they then took my order. I put in my order, waited in line for dang near 30-40 mins…finally got the food and 2 out of the three combos were wrong. Asked for two large onion rings..got one “medium” fry and a “medium” onion ring instead. Asked for jalapeños on the burgers and literally got 3 itty bitty ones. Also asked for extra mayo and burgers were so dry.🤦🏻♀️ Will definitely go out of my way to visit any other location other than this one.

Go look at the drive-thru line there is always a ridiculous wait. Food is always cold employees lack so much customer service.

I waited 10 minutes in one drive-thru lane, backed out, then waited another 10 minutes in the second lane, only for my order to still never be taken. I’ve always loved this restaurant, which is why this was so disappointing. The service was by far the worst I’ve experienced at any fast food restaurant, and that says a lot. Staff was unhelpful, and I spent over 35 minutes in the drive-thru for no reason. I eventually had to flag down an employee with an iPad just to place my order because the headsets were on, but no one was answering customers. To make matters worse, all I could hear over the intercom was cursing and employees talking while no one was helping guests. Management seriously needs to address this and make sure employees are focused on customers. If no one is available to take orders, the microphones should not be left on. Again I’m never one to complain but this was a horrible experience.
