Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- KDKirsten Darren6 days ago1.0I placed an online order and went inside to pick it up. The employee helping me, Silvia, asked for the name on the order. I gave her my name, and she just kept responding with, "Huh? Huh? Huh?" I had to repeat my name several times, and eventually I had to say it louder just so she could understand me. The thing is, my name is very simple and common. The way she kept looking at me and saying "Huh?" over and over honestly made me feel like I was speaking a completely different language when I was just saying my name. Then she came back with my food and scolded at me, "You don't have to be so rude. I didn't hear you the first time. Let me get your drinks." Like...what? I wasn't trying to be rude at all. I only spoke louder because after repeating my name multiple times and getting "Huh?" every single time, I figured maybe she just couldn't understand me. If you can't understand a customer, that's completely understandable. Just say, "I'm sorry, could you repeat that?" There's no need to make someone feel like they're doing something wrong when they're simply trying to pick up an order.

The employee that took my order, and handed me my order this evening was so incredibly professional kind and accommodating. the service and the fresh hot food made perfectly..I had a lot of modifications on the app. (Again Im picky) and everything was perfect. My dog barks at everyone and didn’t bark at the employees lol. Good vibes 💕 11/28/26
