Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

As an older person, I greatly appreciate that the staff has gotten to know the names of all of its regular customers (especially their older customers who are a little slower in how we navigate the world), as well as their little quirks. The staff is always bustling and the new renovation is very nice! You can tell the managers really care about the place and their customers. My only critique is purely cosmetic. With the new renovation, some pictures on the walls would be awesome. Especially some historical Whataburger images.

I told her I had a little bit of a rough night at work, but she listened. She was very caring very sweet and honestly, she lifted my spirits and made my whole night a little better knowing that someone cared about how I was doing. I am so thankful she was there tonight!
