Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- MGMike Guidry5 days ago1.0By far slowest Whataburger I’ve ever visited, and I’ve been to 40+. It takes on average 45 minutes from first entering drive thru line before you get the food. Place should be stripped title of fast food as it’s the exact opposite. They need serious overhaul on their hustle factor as it’s completely nonexistent.

I got the classic #1 Whataburger with a side of medium fries and a Chocolate Milkshake. Everything was delicious and tasted good. My fries were crispy and hot. My burger was good too. And my Chocolate Milkshake was a great way to end my meal. My milkshake was sweet and had a good consistency. I'll have to come back and try their Chocolate Malt too. I genuinely had a good experience for the first time I've ever had Whataburger. Service was pretty quick and our food came out quickly too. We dined in and there were many tables available. The space was pretty clean too. Of the few fast food experiences I've had here in Texas *and I know I haven't eaten at many fast food places in this area*, this is definitely at the top for me. I think I'm now a Whataburger fan. I had some expectations before coming here and they fulfilled it.

When I asked they told me they were busy and if I worked with them they would work with me and to be patient with all the other drivers. Not being a delivery driver I was pretty confused. All that and the food was cold.

They do such a great job working together and creating a positive environment for both employees and customers. Jose is always so nice, respectful, and professional. You can really see the way he treats people and how much he cares about his team. The teamwork at this store truly stands out, and it makes a difference.
