Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- HHHope HightowerMay 11, 20261.0Where do I start? Well, let’s start in the drive-through line where we sat for 20 minutes. Watched every car around us get their food after they only gave us drinks & took our $25 (2 jr. Burgers & 1 jalapeño burger meal). We have to drive up to the window again because they put us in lane B and clearly forgot us. Once we get to the window, they look at us confused and when we say we never got our food… no apologies, just handed us a bag. Get it home, two minutes away from this location and none of the burgers are made correctly and they’re cold. Buns taste like cardboard and just as stiff. We asked for no veggies on all of them and they all had tomatoes, onions & lettuce. We swapped out mayo for mustard and they couldn’t get that right. This is not the first time this stuff has happened so I’ll never go to this location again. They have no idea how to manage a restaurant. Oh and the food tastes gross too, on top of all that. Used to be good, not anymore.
