Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I received my order they way I ordered it and the straw, two ketchup packs and napkins in the bag. The food was warm. I didn't get my receipt and forgot to ask for it because I paid for the food before getting to the window.

Recently, my wife visited and the staff inside was playing profane laced music and being unprofessional. They were basically playing which delayed her food and made for a poor dining interaction. Last night we went through the drive-thru and I think the same crew was working. The young man who took our order showed the verbal and physical signs of being stoned. He struggled to remember what we ordered. He looked dazed ans confused. I recognize this fast food and expectations are low, but I at least expect that the young employees not be THAT high at work. Its dangerous for them and others.
