Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

We set the pick up time for 15 minutes before we would arrive knowing that they’re slow and it still took them another 20 minutes and my wife going inside to prompt them to have it ready for pick up. I will continue to get one star reviews on Whataburger until they solve this issue.

- JCJordan CharlesAug 10, 20262.0I used to be able to count on knowing this Whataburger was good. But something happened in the last year or so. I’ve started coming here less and less. Because every time I do something is off. I’ve been here multiple times where I placed an online order, get there, “hey where out of this” and then I have to sub it for something of lesser value and I never get my money back since it was through the app. I’ve had multiple times where my fountain drink tasted like dirty tap water with carbonation and lime… something is off with the sprite here sometimes. One night I got off work and wanted some fries. They gave me hot mushy old fries. The temp said they were fresh, the quality of the fries said they had been sitting there all day. But these couple of visits where I had a drive thru pick up through the app is what made me start questioning this place months ago. I place an online order, show up for my time, but people who arrive after me and place their order consistently get their orders before my online order. Keep in mind I don’t order more than 3 items when I come, a burger, side, and drink is the most I get..No crazy customization. I ask the people why that is… no explanation, which is fine. But this place is a lost cause, go to another location or a totally different chain.
