We chose Vic and Anthony's to celebrate my sister and a friend's birthdays. This was one of the best dinners I've had in a long time. Their filet mignon is outstanding! My friends and I did the restaurant week menu and it was a fantastic deal. I tried the wedge salad as my starter and enjoyed it. The showstopper was the filet mignon though. Everyone was blown away how juicy and tender it was. My sister had the snapper since she doesn't eat meat and also loved her meal. The chocolate cherry dessert was also amazing. My sister was celebrating her birthday and our server brought out a massive piece of complimentary chocolate cake. It was 24 layers and absolutely heavenly. She was VERY happy to say the least. What a fabulous way to celebrate her birthday. Thank you again!

I made a reservation approximately one hour before our arrival and was offered a choice of two available reservation times. We arrived about 30 minutes early and were politely prepared to wait. The hostess told us it would be approximately five minutes and that we would receive a text when our table was ready. After waiting about 20 minutes with no update, we asked about our table and were then told it could be another 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the way this was communicated was dismissive and rude, with little opportunity for us to even ask questions. A manager subsequently approached us, but rather than trying to resolve the situation, we were essentially told, in a very discourteous manner, that “it is what it is.” There was no consideration given to the circumstances, including the age and medical needs of members of our party. At that point, I decided that my party of four should leave. Rather disappointingly, we were rudely encouraged to do so rather than offered any attempt to resolve the situation. I have traveled extensively and dined at restaurants in many parts of the world, and I can sincerely say that this was among the worst customer-service experiences I have encountered. Good food is important, but it does not compensate for treating customers with disrespect. I will certainly share this experience with friends and business acquaintances. Unfortunately, regardless of the quality of the food, this experience has convinced me not to return.

Very disappointing experience at Vic & Anthony’s, especially considering we were there to celebrate my wife’s 40th. We had a reservation but still had to wait far too long to be seated. Once seated the service was extremely slow. To make matters worse, her food came out over cooked and the remake took so long we ended up leaving hungry and had to eat elsewhere. People seated after us had come and gone without issue. For a restaurant of this caliber and price point, I expected much better service and attention to detail. Especially since we've had great service in the past. Unfortunately, what should have been a special birthday dinner turned into a frustrating experience. We did talk to the manager who only shifted the focus away from the restaurant's mistake and not the experience we paid for.

**Very disappointing experience for a special occasion** I had really high expectations for Vic & Anthony’s, especially because we were celebrating our anniversary and had heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing. When we first arrived, the host was very welcoming and let us know that our table was ready. We decided to have a drink at the bar before sitting down. The bartender did greet us, but we ended up waiting for several minutes while he was on his phone before we were able to order. We eventually decided to just go to our table. Once seated, our server greeted us well. We let him know that it was our first time dining there and that we were excited to try the Restaurant Week menu. The service started off well, but as the meal continued, it felt like there was a noticeable lack of attentiveness and warmth. The food from the Restaurant Week menu itself was generally good. We also ordered the lobster mac and cheese as a side, which unfortunately was not very good in our opinion. We mentioned this to our server, and to his credit, he did take care of it for us. What was most disappointing, however, was how our anniversary dessert was handled. Rather than being presented as part of the special occasion, the dessert was simply packaged to go with no presentation whatsoever. For a restaurant of this caliber and price point, I expected a much more thoughtful experience, especially since we had specifically mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. What made this even more disappointing was seeing afterward that a friend who dined at Vic & Anthony’s on the same day and around the same time, also celebrating an anniversary, received an actual dessert presentation. It made us feel like our special occasion was not given the same level of attention. Unfortunately, the experience became even more concerning afterward, as I became sick with what I believe was food poisoning following the meal. For a high end steakhouse and a special occasion, I expected much more from the attentiveness of the service to the presentation and overall experience. There were definitely some positives, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the reputation or price point of Vic & Anthony’s.

This was my very first time coming to Vic & Anthony's. I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time. I came this past Sunday for my brother's 51st birthday. My waiter was very peculiar in his appearance and the way he communicated. He talked very low so we had to lean in to hear him as he spoke. He was great about refilling my Arnold Palmer drink so that was a plus. We ordered Filet Mignon and Roasted chicken entrees and the bread pudding for dessert was very tasty. After we finished, the waiter bagged up our leftovers and brought us the check. Because my sister in law paid for our party meal including mine. We agreed that I would leave the tip. The waiter came back to collect the ticket and noticed that she didn't leave a tip. He grabs it and looks at it and walks off abruptly before I could even tell him that I want to leave the tip on my card. I had to call him to come back and to tell him what I was going to do. It was like it wasn't registering to him that he was getting a tip because he seemed already disappointed. Anyway, he brought me the slip for the tip, and with our bill, I looked up what would be a generous tip our total bill and that is what I left him. He seemed very disappointed in how he responded the remaining dining time. He never came back to my table to refill my drink. I was thinking that perhaps he was looking for a $100 tip. I understand that many people might come to this establishment and leave those types of tips but, I am not that person especially if it's not deserved. My tip was very generous but not quite $100. Anyway, he sent another waiter to refill my drink the remainder of our time there which was very strange while he watched across the room. Needless to say around 3am Monday morning, I became very sick and I have had diarrhea for two days now. My first thought was that maybe something was done to my drink or food however I didn't want to think that someone would do something so cruel because of a tip. Needless to say I was disappointed with my dining experience and after leaving waiting outside about 25 minutes for my car to arrive because I valet parked. I expected more from this establishment because of how highly esteemed it's dining reviews are exhaulted. First impressions are lasting.
