There is often a significant amount of smoothie left in the blender after the drink is poured. At other locations, when I’ve asked for the remainder, they’ve given it to me, and it has been enough to fill an additional cup or close to it. That raises a serious concern about consistency and accuracy. If the menu lists a smoothie as containing specific calories and protein, then the portion served should reflect that. Leaving a substantial amount behind means the customer may not be receiving what’s being advertised. At this specific location, when I asked about the leftover and how that affects the listed nutrition, I was told, “it’s not my problem,” and refused the remainder. That response, combined with the inconsistency in portioning, is disappointing. This isn’t about getting something extra, it’s about consistency, and how tropical smoothie is advancing their menu, and receiving the full product that’s being paid for.
