My cousin was visiting Houston and I took him to get breakfast thinking it was going to be good because of all the good reviews it had, but I’m sure those reviews aren’t real. The food was horrendous!! The coffee tasted like garbage. The eggs and sausage tasted like cardboard. I’m convinced their business is something else because food it is not. This was a couple of weeks ago and I still mad about it. It was so embarrassing!! I wanted to impress my cousin but ended up feeling like a fool (I know it’s my fault because I should have taken him to a place I knew). And that trash was $65 😡

From the moment we were seated, Lawren was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Lawren was quick with everything we needed, kept our drinks filled, made sure our order was perfect, and checked on us throughout our meal. Great food is important, but outstanding service is what brings people back. Lawren’s positive attitude and excellent customer service really made our dining experience enjoyable. If you visit The Toasted Yolk, I highly recommend asking for Lawren.
