⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A LITTLE PIECE OF ARGENTINA IN HOUSTON 🇦🇷❤️ The Social Bistro and Smoothies completely surprised us. This isn't just somewhere you go to eat—it’s one of those places where the food transports you somewhere else. We tried the Argentinian Asado Platter, the Milanesa Napolitana, and one of their croissants, and WOW. The asado is the star: chorizo, morcilla, chinchulines, costillas and all the sides. The flavors are bold, rustic and unmistakably Argentine. The Milanesa Napolitana is pure comfort food—exactly the kind of plate that makes you understand why Argentinians are so passionate about their food. 🇦🇷🔥 And let's talk about the PORTIONS. Come hungry! 😂 These aren't tiny, pretty plates that leave you wondering where dinner went. The portions are HUGE, generous and made for sharing. What I loved most, though, was the authenticity. There is something about the flavors and the whole experience that feels like sitting down for a meal with family in Argentina. Houston has plenty of restaurants, but finding a place that gives you authentic flavor, generous portions AND an unforgettable cultural experience is something special. And don't leave without trying a smoothie or coffee. ❤️ The Social Bistro and Smoothies is a hidden Argentine gem on Westheimer that deserves WAY more attention. If you've never experienced real Argentine comfort food, START HERE. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 — we came for food and left feeling like we'd taken a little trip to Argentina. 🇦🇷🥩☕️ #HoustonEats #HoustonFoodies #ArgentinianFood #HoustonRestaurants #HiddenGemHouston

I absolutely enjoyed this place! The meat empanada was amazing. I got a 1 person parrilla with asado (beef short ribs), chorizo (Argentine sausage), morcilla (blood sausage), chinchulin (small intestines), grilled veggies, ensalada rusa (rusa salad) and a house salad (they didn't skimp!). The chimichurry was really spot on! I also got a sandwiche de miga with red peppers and egg. The owner recommended I toast it and, let me tell you, it was sooo good!!! I ended the meal with an alfajor de maicena (two melt in your mouth 'cookies' with dulce de leche -a way better version of caramel- in between). Heavenly. I will bring my family here next time. You have to try it!!

August 16, 2026. We had a choripan and it was delicious. Not only the chorizo but they also make the bread. French bread made the right way. The fries were very good too. We look forward to explore the milanesas in our next visit. 100% recommend. Edit: August 21, 2026. We went back for lunch today and this was a let down, compared with last time (8/16/2026). My wife got the choripan again and I got the milanesa napolitan. The choripan was unbelievable wet (it was leaking water) and they put some kind of dressing that made the bread wet. My milanesa was extremely big (I suggest to have a a selection of medium size or large size) and it had some parts hard to chew. The breading was burnt and full of oil. Our first time was very good. I don't know what happened this time, but I think that the cooker was a different one. I cannot give the same stars as firs time. However the service was good, but I cannot recommend this place.

This is a cafe / restaurant that is attach to the cake shop Supreme Kakes. You order at the counter and they will bring out your food and drinks. This place is mainly an Argentinian style cafe but they have smoothie and boba if you are not a coffee person. I had the Italian Regular and it came out quick but my friends ordered 2 different hot dogs and it took a bit of time to come out for some reason. My sandwich was big, I could not finish the whole sandwich and this was the regular size too. The fries were thin and well fried for the crunch and softness in the middle. I would come back and try other food here. The capuccino was just average. It was a bit cold inside, so bring a jacket if you can not withstand the cold.
