  The Palm Houston delivers exactly what you want from a classic steakhouse: outstanding food, great atmosphere, and top tier service. Steaks are cooked perfectly every time, and the staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and quick to anticipate what you need. Great for a celebration or a client dinner alike. Highly recommend, five stars, easily.

  Brought in my family last minute after the World Cup match, and Caleb and the staff guided us through a wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent, the live music was pleasant, and the service was professional and kind. Highly recommended if you’re in the downtown area.

  This is my new favorite place! Everything was well put together. From the waitress, live music, atmosphere, Everything!!!! We were celebrating our anniversary, and they decorated our table!

  My wife and I visited The Palm Houston before the Rosalía concert on the 23rd. At first, everything was going well. Our server, Michael, was attentive and made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, that all changed after he was assigned a large party. From that point on, we felt practically forgotten. After the large party was seated, Michael only checked on us about three times. We wanted another round of drinks, but no one ever came back to take the order. Our food arrived nearly an hour after we were seated, which I understand can happen during busy times. My main issue, however, was that I ordered my steak medium-rare, and it was served medium-well. Because we were trying to make it to the concert on time, I didn't have the opportunity to send it back. I've been to The Palm in Nashville several times and have always received exceptional food and service. I came to the Houston location with those same expectations, but unfortunately, this visit fell well short. It will be a long time before I return, and I hope the level of service improves in the future.

  We visited The Palm Houston on the afternoon of June 23, 2026, while in town for a concert at the Toyota Center. As longtime patrons of The Palm in Nashville, where we've always enjoyed excellent meals and memorable experiences, we were excited to visit this location but unfortunately left very disappointed. Our server, Michael, was attentive and pleasant at the start, but once he was assigned a large party, our table was essentially forgotten. Over the course of two and a half hours, we saw him only three times. He refilled my water once and never returned to offer drink refills or check on us. Our food was brought out by food runners, and we ultimately had to visibly crane our necks looking for assistance before another server, Timothy, stepped in and kindly brought us our check. What made this especially frustrating was that the dining room was far from busy we were one of only about six tables on a Tuesday afternoon. With no overwhelming circumstances to account for the lack of attention, the neglect was hard to overlook. To be fair, the hostess and Timothy were bright spots both showed genuine initiative and hospitality. And as always, the food was excellent. But for a restaurant of The Palm's caliber, especially in a city currently seeing a high volume of visitors, the service and overall ambiance fell well short of expectations. We hope this is addressed, as we'd love for our next visit to reflect the experience we know The Palm is capable of delivering.
