Today was my first time at the catch and Ashley S. was so friendly and welcoming as soon as I came in. She greeted me with a smile, which I really appreciate because not a lot of people do that now in days . My food was perfect I ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta that Ashley recommended me and it was honestly so delicious, it really met my expectations! I Highly recommend the catch it’s a very tasty and clean environment!.

We arrived 30 minutes before close and was told to go only. We were fine with that. I was looking forward to a nostalgic meal I haven't had in years. Everything we initially ordered was out: boudin balls, fried green tomatoes, no crawfish of any kind. Server was so rude about them being out of everything. Told us we should have gotten in earlier. Went straight from the airport to the catch and couldn't have gotten there earlier. If you're still open - I'm pretty sure you're still open and customers don't deserve for you to demand when they come. You don't know where they've been and what they've been though. She was passive aggressive about THEIR system blocking Google pay. That's not my fault? She didn't understand that it wasn't an apple phone...... They're different, sis. The fried pickles and popboy are subpar. Fries were soggy. The gator was way over breaded and over fried :( We waited 5 extra minutes for a tiny piece of frozen garlic bread? We ordered grilled shrimp, they gave us friend shrimp and fried catfish instead. The beignets were sooooooo delicious, though. So good I don't even care I wasted $40 on the rest of the meal that went to the trash after 5 bites.

I ordered the blackened catfish with shrimp it wasn't seasoned properly to salty. I set at a table expecting a waitress to take my order to dine in for 5 minutes no one said anything and didn't tell me I had to place my order at the counter. If I wasn't hungry I would have left although the cashier was quite pleasant afterwards.

I am beyond frustrated with my experience at The Catch. This was not a small mistake — this was flat-out unacceptable. We ordered: * A catfish nugget basket * A French Quarter plate * Jumbo shrimp and catfish What we received was NOT catfish. It was SWAI FISH. This is not just about taste — this is about honesty, accuracy, and trust. You advertised catfish. If you don’t serve catfish, then SAY THAT. Don’t tell customers one thing just to get the sale and then send out something completely different. People have dietary preferences, allergies, and cultural reasons for what they eat. This is serious. The fish looked different. It tasted different. Anyone who knows real catfish KNOWS the difference. We were misled. This experience was disappointing, irritating, and unacceptable. Customers should not have to double-guess whether they are being told the truth about what they’re eating. If your staff doesn’t know what fish is being served, that’s a problem. If they DO know and are saying “catfish” anyway, that’s an even bigger problem. Do better. Be honest. Because this experience has completely ruined what should have been a simple meal. Very disappointed.

This is a very honest review….. the food was not good….. none of it!!! I ordered a seafood boil (bc how can you go wrong with a boil) the crab meat was dry and overcooked…… the sauce was not good but it wasn’t bad either……. The corn, potatoes & shrimp was good …… the sausage didn’t taste right like it was old or something Fried pickles: All we could taste was breading it was not good My husband ordered some type of étouffée late it was plain & nasty To top things off AS SOON AS WE LEFT, we both had the bubble guts all of their food seem to be old WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE NONE OF OUR FOOD WAS GOOD L
