Hands down, the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Taco Bell.
I placed my order through the app at 8:17 PM. When I arrived at the drive-thru window, I was told they were waiting on fresh fries and was asked to pull behind the yellow pole so their drive-thru times wouldn’t increase. I waited about 10 minutes. When another car pulled up behind me, I pulled forward to the window and the manager, who didn’t acknowledge me or apologize, she simply told me my order wasn’t ready, that I shouldn’t have pulled forward, and instructed me to drive around to the front of the building.
I followed those instructions and waited another 20 minutes, but my order still wasn’t brought out. I tried opening the door to the lobby, which was locked ten minutes before closing mind you. I eventually circled back through the drive-thru, where I was told my order needed to be remade. I can only assume it had been forgotten.
Once again, I was asked to pull behind the yellow pole, again seemingly to protect their drive-thru times. I stayed at the window and waited another 10 minutes for the order to be remade.
After approximately 42 minutes, I finally received my order, without sauce, napkins, or utensils.
I spent more time waiting for a fast-food order than I would have spent eating on my entire lunchbreak.
Management, if you’re reading this, I strongly recommend following up with the night shift manager regarding how drive thru times are being prioritized over actually getting customers their orders. The entire experience was incredibly frustrating and could have been handled much better.
