The soups were very very nice, but the abacha was very dry and the pomo was so hard we couldn’t even eat it. But the lady was very receptive of our feedback and offered to make it up to us. The lady that took our order was very patient with us, as we kept on changing our minds. Our drinks were forgotten and we had to keep reminding them. Overall, I think it’s a good restaurant with potential, the owner was very nice and receptive of our feedbacks and immediately offered to fix all the mistakes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!👍🏾💯

We were really excited to try this restaurant and ordered a wide variety of dishes to get the full experience, spending around $260 for our family. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing across the board. Every dish contained large amounts of bone and very tough cuts of meat, which made it difficult to eat and not enjoyable for a first-time experience. The textures were also a major issue—okra soup was overwhelmingly slimy, the pounded yam was both dry and overly mushy at the same time, and the egusi included very strong-tasting dried fish that completely overpowered the dish. What stood out most was the inconsistency in flavor: the broths were heavily seasoned, but the meat itself tasted underseasoned and poorly prepared. Overall, nothing felt balanced or approachable, especially for those trying this cuisine for the first time. We genuinely wanted to enjoy this meal and were open to trying something new, but unfortunately, it was not edible for us and we ended up discarding most of it. I understand this may be traditional preparation, but for the price and quality, this experience was very disappointing.

Pius was so kind and helpful. This was my first time trying a lot of these dishes and he was super good at informing us on his favorites and recommendations. We had the $29.99 dinner buffet.
