Average, that is how I feel about it. I typically avoid Saltgrass because it’s not worth it to me. I was there because it was a free vendor lunch. It’s fine, it gets the job done.

Food was great as always, but our server took a while to come around and check up on us, even when we were ready to leave we had a hard time flagging em down.

Pricey for basic quality. I ordered a Pittsburgh-style Ribeye and found it tough and chewy. Definitely expected a much better cut of meat for what they are charging here.

I am extremely disappointed with the treatment my family received on Sunday, May 31, at approximately 4:40 p.m. The hostess refused to seat our party of five, citing "policy." Our group consisted of two adults, one 12 year old, and two small children; one who could sit on a lap and another who uses a booster seat. What concerns me most is that we have been seated as a family of five in a booth at this same location in the past without any issue. The inconsistent enforcement of this policy made us feel singled out and unwelcome. Rather than enjoy a family dinner, we felt compelled to leave. While I cannot speak to the employee's intentions, the interaction left us questioning whether we were treated differently than other customers. No family should leave a restaurant feeling unwelcome or unfairly treated. I encourage management to investigate this incident, review how seating policies are applied, and provide additional customer service training to ensure all guests are treated fairly, respectfully, and consistently.

** update** I have tried reaching out, but have yet to receive a response! Pathetic. My experience at Saltgrass Steak House was, unfortunately, one of the worst I’ve ever had at a restaurant—and that’s tough to say because I’ve loved this place since I was a kid. To start with the positive, the food was actually fantastic. Everything we had was well-prepared and really enjoyable, which makes this even more disappointing to write. The issue was entirely with the service. From the beginning, things were off. Manager John did try to step in early and make things right, and I do appreciate that effort, but the adjustments made just weren’t enough to recover the experience. Our group of six was there for nearly three hours—2 hours and 45 minutes to be exact. The biggest frustration came at the end when it took four or five attempts just to get the bill correct for six people. By that point, patience was running very thin. What made it worse was watching two other large tables come in after us, get seated, served, and finish their meals before our situation was even resolved. Saltgrass has always been one of my favorite restaurants, which is why this experience honestly hurts. The level of service we received makes it hard to want to come back again. That said, thank you to John for trying and for the cake—it was appreciated, even if the overall experience didn’t improve. @ Landry's please reach out to me if you desire, I will be reaching out regardless to corporate
