  I sat at the bar top. I order an app & a drink. I have to wave the bartender over just to order. After I received my order I wait about 15 minutes while I enjoyed my app. Then I order another drink & chips to go with my seafood fondeaux. Then I order my dinner. The salad came out then my food was coming. I still have the original appetizer still in front of me. The bartender ask if I wanted to take it to go- I replied yes the appetizer came be bag. She then put all the to go containers down in front of me. This crowded my bar top. I had to stop eating to put my food away. I lost my appetite and now I'm have to put my dinner in containers. The service I'm normally received is the staff will place my food in the containers. I was expecting this - this way I could continue to enjoy my dinner. But instead I'm leaving. I like to tip when to service is normally received is not met. I'm not sure but is the service going away 🤔. I like tipping for great service. Not sure what to do on the experience 😕.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Saltgrass Steak House — Everything's Bigger in Texas!** Ordered the chicken fried steak at Saltgrass. Apparently, they misunderstood my order and brought me the entire chicken-fried state of Texas! This thing needed its own ZIP code, a building permit, and possibly a mortgage. The gravy could've filled a swimming pool! Absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and big enough to feed a small neighborhood. **Come hungry. Leave happy. And bring a wheelbarrow for the leftovers!**

  The bartender whose name I didn't catch because she didn't bother introducing herself--she was possibly Hispanic with curly hair in a ponytail and very short--had to be the worst example of customer service I've ever experienced at a Landry's. No attention, no eye contact, abrupt, zero friendliness or courtesy or even tact. I've been a Landry's member probably as long as she has been alive and how she treated me and other clientele within earshot was despicable. Generally when a guest sits at the bar the staff will ask "are you dining as well tonight?" Did she? No. She asked the older man next to me "are you eating or are you just drinking?" What a way to make him feel welcome. She didn't bother checking my Landry's rewards and when I mentioned this to her when my bill didn't reflect my rewards credit to her she said "I put them on there, you just can't see them." I wasn't talking about the ones earned today, I had $25 in rewards already I wanted to use and she claimed she didn't see them. Please. It's your job. The manager had no issue finding them. I'll be back to Saltgrass, but not this one.

  I planed a call in order drove 30 mins to get it, came into the restaurant and waited to be acknowledged for another 15 mins in the “To Go” area. Finally I asked the young lady was I in the right section or would someone else be assisting me. She apologized and said, “I’m sorry about that give me one minute”. That turned into another 10 mins before another young man came and asked how he could help me. The time waiting didn’t bother me as much as the time without communication, follow up or service. This is my first less than great experience at this location. Hopefully someone will read this and make the to go experience better.

  Went to dinner here with my 3 daughters. We ordered 3 sirloins and 1 ribeye. The portions that we received were not matching with the ounces stated. So much smaller and my ribeye was over cooked. Not med rare. I did inform my waiter about the issues and they did apologize but I didn't want to send them back bc I know they would just have to throw the steaks away and be wasteful. Ive enjoyed Saltgrass so much in the past and have actually had one of my birthday dinners here before but guess somethings going on the with different cooks thats making it not as good? I dont think our waiter told the manager about the issue bc the manager came by and didnt mention anything about my complaint. He was actually a little rude to address me from 2 tables away and not actually approach my table directly. Giving 2 stars bc another waiter (not ours) came by and was very friendly and took our dirty plates that sat there for a while.
