  I witnessed this employee being extremely rude and disrespectful toward customers. I was told that he is apparently a manager, which made his behavior even more disappointing. His attitude came across as very unprofessional and not at all representative of the level of customer service I would expect from someone in a management position. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the way customers are being treated.

  I had a very unpleasant experience with an employee at Randalls. I simply asked him where the cereal was, and his response was, “I don’t know.” His tone and attitude came across as very rude and dismissive. I understand that employees may not know the location of every item, but I would expect basic customer service, such as offering to find someone who could help or pointing me in the right direction. I hope management addresses this because customers should be treated with basic respect when asking for assistance.

  Unfortunate experience, I used to love randalls... now I see why so many of them are closing. TL;dr: bad customer service, wouldn't honor coupon. They unwrapped chicken I walked around with and placed it back in the refrigerated display. On a whim I checked their weekly specials (actually looking for fruit deals) and saw that chicken breasts were on sale so I clipped the online coupon, using the website; as I have for 10+ years. I went to do my normal shopping elsewhere and stopped by just for this deal. I went to check out and the discount didn't apply, I told the person at self checkout and he said I probably didn't clip the coupon. I logged in and showed him and he said I needed the app. I said this is how I always do it and you can see that it is "clipped" - I asked if he could honor the price and he said only the app could and maybe I entered the wrong number. I said, I will enter my number again... he said "I would have to void this" then stared blankly at me for 20 seconds, I said okay, go ahead and void it. I started over, same thing and he wouldn't adjust the price. I started to look around for a manager then remembered I had a full trunk of groceries so I just left. Called customer service (no email online) to complain, told the story and said "instead of doing a price adjustment they just threw out the food" - she said, "no we put it back.' I said "what do you mean, I walked around with it and it was already wrapped up - she said, but you never touched it ... now, I guess I never thought of this, it's is one thing if it's sealed/packaged in the freezer section.... but the place where you go and they weigh it out... seems gross to take it back, unwrap it and put it back in the fridge. Idk how common this is, and I don't want to know. I was just no longer interested, seems kinda gross. I know I've picked up packaged chicken and put it back before but I never thought they could weigh it out, package it - hand it to a customer... let them walk around... then open it back up and put it back in the fridge.

  Low quality food for premium prices. Everything from produce to coffee beans is sub-standard, old and almost expired, but they price their products as if they’re Whole Foods.

  Extremely unacceptable experience at the Randalls Pharmacy on Weslayan. We were given one box of Repatha that was ultimately priced at $230, but were initially charged $520.25. When we questioned the charge, Fatima was extremely rude and dismissive and refused to properly resolve the issue. Pharmacy staff Fatima even threatened to call the police! This is how they treat their 10 years loyal customer! I had to return to the pharmacy twice and spend a significant amount of time dealing with an error that should have been resolved immediately. Only after repeated escalation did Rakhi Dave finally process the correction, and even then there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience and distress they caused!
