- JZJoshua ZavalaAug 8, 20262.0I was really disappointed with my experience at Pappasito’s at IAH. I stopped by Tuesday evening around 8:40 PM after flying back from Denver, expecting to grab a meal since the restaurant was listed as being open until 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, the restaurant was already closed. I’m a regular at the Pappas restaurant chain and always look forward to getting some good food when I have the chance. After traveling all day and being really hungry, I was especially looking forward to Pappasito’s. It was frustrating to arrive 20 minutes before the posted closing time only to find the restaurant closed. I ended up having to wait another hour or so until I got to my hotel before I could finally eat. I understand that things happen and that employees have schedules, but if the restaurant arr going to close earlier than the posted hours, the hours should be updated so customers aren’t left disappointed, especially travelers coming through the airport. Hopefully this was just a one time thing , because I normally have a great experience with Pappasito’s and would hate for this to change my opinion of the restaurant.

Xavier made it clear what were the best choices as soon as I mentioned "gluten allergy". He also alerted the kitchen himself after putting in my order. Very friendly and attentive service. I ordered the chicken tacos with rice and beans, which were absolutely delicious.
