- GOGeycell Oliva5 days ago3.0I’ve been coming to this location since 1992 and it has never disappointed me until now. We ordered the large size fajitas, and while the platter looked an appropriate size, it was mostly an illusion. The bed of caramelized onions was huge and took up most of the skillet, meaning the actual portion of beef was heavily reduced. The sides were also a letdown. There was much less rice than there should have been for a large meal, and it had odd large chunks of carrot mixed in. I love this place and hope this was just an off-night for their portion balance
- ACalejandra cabrera5 days ago1.0We went to these location on Saturday night The restaurant wasn’t full and we ask for a table of 5 people (2 adults and 3 kids ) . We waited almost 30 minutes for a server that never came by. The manager the was on shift never came , she literally saw was couple times and never ask us for a drink or if we need anything, she was just walking around the restaurant doing absolutely nothing… We even tried to tell some servers and the hostess that we were waiting for our server but nobody helps us. The manager waited at the end when we decided to leave the restaurant with our kids crying because they were hungry to talk to us and offer a gift card for the inconvenience So disappointed never coming back ….

Came w/my niece and brother… we ordered the steak fajitas. It was awesome. From the hostess who greeted us to the waiter and busboy… all were Superb!!! Will be coming back soon!

The meat was definitely one of the highlights. Everything was flavorful, tender, and well prepared. The fajitas were particularly enjoyable, and the different entrees gave everyone a good variety of options to choose from. The enchiladas and birria were also good choices if you're looking for something a little different. The entrees came with rice and beans, which rounded out the meals nicely and made the portions feel like a complete Mexican dinner. The chips were good, fresh, and a nice way to start the meal while waiting for the food to arrive. It's always a plus when a Mexican restaurant gets the chips right because they set the tone for the rest of the dining experience. We also ordered the mango lemonade, which tasted really good and was refreshing. However, at around $7 for a drink, I was surprised by how much ice they put in the glass. You're basically paying a premium price for a drink that's mostly ice, which was a little disappointing. The lemonade itself was delicious, but I would have appreciated more actual drink for that price! One of the biggest advantages of this location is its convenient location right off the highway. It's an easy place to stop when you're traveling or looking for a sit-down Mexican restaurant without having to go too far out of your way. Overall, Pappasito's Cantina delivered good food, especially when it came to the quality and flavor of the meat. Between the Sombrero, fajitas, enchiladas, birria, rice, beans, and chips, there was plenty to enjoy. The only real complaint was the expensive mango lemonade being filled with so much ice. Good Mexican food, flavorful meat, and a convenient location. Just go easy on the ice in those $7 drinks!
