OMG! I had the worst experience at the Webster location that I've ever had at Pappasitos since my high school days in 1983! Yesterday, a group of nine met to celebrate a birthday party. After an unusually long wait, the food finally started arriving. However, for some unknown reason, the food wasn't served to the entire party as it usually is. Seven orders were eventually served, with two still being withheld, forgotten, or lost. The waitress did a phenomenal job checking on the guests and being accommodating—meanwhile, the two adult patrons who ordered alcoholic beverages and didn't have food. The eighth order arrived after seven of the patrons had already eaten over half of their meals. The waitress noticed that I wasn't a happy camper and asked if there was anything else that I needed. My response?
I need to eat the food that was ordered almost two hours ago. SMH. When the fajitas finally arrived, they weren't sizzling, and the onions were not caramelized as ordered. The chicken was pale compared to how Pappasitos normally preps and prepares fajitas. Remember, I've been dining at Pappasitos since the Richmond/Hillcrest location opened in 1983. No. I didn't want that non-sezzling plate. No. I didn't want to eat the beans, rice, or ice cream that the manager offered. I didn't trust what would be served next. I went home without eating after not eating all day and drinking a margarita. Imagine that! The other orders of chicken were horrible-looking and tasting, according to the adults and child dining experience. Non-seasoned chicken tenders didn't fly. Pun intended. The manager did offer a $50 gift card for the inconvenience but didn't comp the adult beverage. The beverage never would have been ordered if I known that the food wouldn't have arrived in a timely manner. Not not what responsible adults do and know...

Idk who needs to hear this, but papasitos does not carry or offer ranch dressing.
Oh and this is sooooo not green salsa
The fajitas were soft and tender cooked to a perfect medium rare. A little under seasoned for me, but still very good. The shrimp was incredible 5 stars. I could drink the butter sauce every morning for the rest of my (if I really did that) short life but totally worth it. The charro beans were a major disappointment just order the refried. But the micheladas were fairly good

Food was good. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad. We had a big group. Service was not what I’d want. Never would go to this one, purely based on the service. The manager service, was not what was expected. But other than that, food was good. Prices are high and wish I could’ve lowered my gratuity tip. I tip for good service not mediocre or bad.
I called to place a to-go order, but the phone rang for 8 minutes before disconnecting. I immediately called back, and it rang for another 4 minutes. By that time, I was already on my way to Pappasito’s.
When I walked in, my phone was still ringing. There were two employees standing at the to-go counter, yet no one answered the phone. I showed the manager that I was still on hold while the employees were right there, but the call continued to go unanswered.
This wasn’t my first experience. The week before, I also tried calling in a to-go order and no one answered. Instead, I decided to come in and eat on the patio. The manager told me I was welcome to sit outside, but there wouldn’t be anyone to serve us because they were short-staffed. My daughter and I ended up placing our own order and repeatedly walking back and forth to get our food, drinks, and anything else we needed.
The I-10 East location used to be my favorite, but unfortunately, the service has declined so much that I no longer enjoy coming here. I understand staffing challenges happen, but ignoring ringing phones and leaving guests to fend for themselves is not the level of service I’ve come to expect from Pappasito’s. I hope management addresses these issues because this location has the potential to be great again.

Party of 6 seated outside. 45 min wait when we arrived but got in earlier. Good service decent food and portion size. Only downfall was due to our food taking extra time to come out the manager who was a female came to our table and said dessert would be complimentary.
We finished our meal and everyine ordered dessert. Not long after the waitress came back and said the manager said only 3 of the 6 would have complimentary dessert.
At no time did the manager specify only a number of us would be covered. If that was the case she should have said up front. Not after we placed the order and then said we would have to pay. That's bad business and the downfall of our visit. Be upfront from the start. Their is no coming back to change what you first told us from tge start.
