I was very impressed with this location! Staff was great and food was phenomenal! We normally dine at the Westheimer, but waited too late to reserve a table! It’s great to see that across the board with the 2 locations, that you won’t be disappointed!!

Went here for an anniversary dinner and left pretty disappointed. From the start, it was hard to hear our server when they were going over the specials and off-menu items, which made the experience feel a bit confusing instead of enjoyable. For a place busy like this, I expected clearer communication, maybe a different route than having the servers recite with so much going on around would work more. My thoughts on the food were — I wasn’t impressed with my steak, which was disappointing. I had high expectations since I have heard positive feedback from peers and social media and also for their pricing. My favorite thing of the night was the Mac and cheese with crab meat, the giant asparagus were a bit on the tough side. Sadly, forgot to take a picture of food. Another issue was the bill—we were charged for a cake we never received. Not sure if it was added automatically because of the anniversary reservation, but either way, it shouldn’t have been on there. We had to point it out to get it corrected, we did get the cake for “free”? so I can say our server did his part. Overall, not the experience we were hoping for, especially for a special occasion.Went here for an anniversary dinner and left pretty disappointed.

Food and service were excellent, the only problem I have is they have a dress code that they clearly don't enforce. There is a sign stating that there is a dress code and yet there was a guy eating that looked like he just finished doing yard work, t-shirt, basketball shorts and crocs. I was disappointed by the way some of the patrons were dressed.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, primarily due to the service from our server, Devon. We arrived about five minutes before our reservation for two and were asked to stand near the lobster tank while multiple parties—who arrived after us, including several couples—were seated ahead of us. It was noticeable and frustrating. Over the course of the evening, which dragged on for nearly three hours (for what should have been a 90-minute dinner), the service only got worse. We spent over $600, yet received minimal attention. Devon consistently prioritized other tables while we were left waiting for long stretches with no check-ins. After finishing our main course, we waited over 25 minutes just to have our table cleared—even after asking. Meanwhile, staff were standing around inspecting glassware in what was an otherwise quiet dining room. It felt like we were completely ignored. Carlos, another staff member, noticed the situation and genuinely tried to step in and help improve the service, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, Devon quickly reinserted himself without improving the experience at all. Thank you, Carlos, for at least trying. To make matters worse, our $200 tomahawk steak was served before our red wine and pairing sauce even arrived—completely disorganized and poorly timed. The food itself was just okay, but the service made the entire experience feel far below expectations. For the price point, it honestly felt closer to an Outback-level experience than a high-end steakhouse. I dine at high-end steakhouses regularly, and this was easily the worst service I’ve ever received. I will not be returning, nor will I be recommending this restaurant to clients.

Service was great. But my favorite steak house is Steak 48 any my cousin told me it was wayyyyy better. Number one NO it’s not not even close. Steak had no flavor not even salt and pepper had to send it back because they medium well plus and it came back pink as my tongue more like medium 2/10, I knew from looking it was going to be good so I order some butter toppings and it taste better given it a 6/10. Lobster Mac and cheese was 4/10 looks like Alfredo sauce instead of cheese. Spinach was horrible and watered the spinach didn’t cook long enough and didn’t have the baked taste 2/10. Side portio does not feed 4 well it wasn’t good so I didn’t care my sister didn’t eat it, I barely ate mines so we were good. Crab cakes mid 5/10 I’ve had better, fried oysters were good 9/10. The only thing that was perfect- was my Hennessy side car 10/10. My cousin now owes me $220 because my time and money was wasted. Waiter was amazing.
