Disappointed is the word I'm using to say the least. We travel to Houston to go to MD Anderson.
When I made the reservation I advised the staff that I have a cancer patient.
My reservation has to be on time and cannot sit idly by and wait 15 20/30 or 45 minutes after we made the reservation.
Reservation was at 5:00. There was a long line.
My sister had to use the restroom and I simply asked one of the staff members where is the restroom and they loudly replied do you have a reservation? I replied in a lower tone yes we do. I took her to the side explain the situation. My sister and I are going to eat quickly so they can have the table turned back. My sister cannot sit for any length of time. They advised me when I made the reservation that that would not be a problem. Simply towel the wait staff that you want all of your food out as quickly as possible.
Reservation was at 5:00 we didn't get seated until 5:45.
We were sitting at a table up against a pillar. It was a very very tight area and our chairs kept getting bumped by customers or wait staff.
We asked to be relocated and they simply said there isn't any other table available.
We ordered quickly. To fillets medium rare lobster tails. We got a salad. We also told them the desert that we wanted. Before anything else came out they placed the desserts on our table.
I questioned as to why the deserts came out before the food and they said we thought you had already eaten.
There was no apology. One of the desserts was a type of brownie with some sort of pudding. It tasted as though they put it in the microwave. We weren't going to eat the dessert first as the brownie sat on the table it became rock hard due to it being microwaved.
Once again no apology nothing like we can replace it would you care for something else? I'm in the restaurant industry for 45 years. My staff would have been fired have they treated customers this way. The steak and lobster came out. The lobster was cold and the steak was blah. Chewy not tender for a filet. I had to flag down a staffer to ask if this was prime or choice? They simply said it's choice and we never have problems with our steaks.
My sister was getting upset. This was supposed to be a wonderful meal that was highly recommended to us buy the MD Anderson staff. When someone leaves the food on the plate the question from your staff should be I'm sorry was everything okay? Or would you like to take this home? No no they did nothing. They brought the check set it down on the table. I paid the check and left the food. Obviously there are Staffers on your payroll that need additional training with customer service.

Mother's Day ruined. We are regulars and eat at this restaurant about once a month so thought it would be a good place for Mother's Day. Long story short the service was terrible to the point where we had to go find our server who was nowhere to be found. The manager got involved and our server (Leslie) actually got into an argument with my wife of all people. My wife rarely gets upset. We were not the only table that was unhappy. The manager apologized on behalf of the restaurant and said someone would be reaching out shortly. So far nothing.

Had a great experience at Papa Bro’s Steakhouse. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was really nice. Our waitress did a fantastic job and was attentive throughout the meal. We also appreciated that we were seated not long after our reservation time. The portions were generous, and overall it was a really enjoyable dinner. We’ll definitely be back!

The service and atmosphere were outstanding, and the food was absolutely spectacular. We started with a dozen oysters featuring a beautiful variety of shells, followed by a classic Caesar salad and a massive 26oz bone-in dry-aged porterhouse that was bursting with flavor.
Highly recommend! Just be sure to make reservations — even if you plan on sitting at the bar.
