  My family and I always love to come to papas bbq for some good food especially when Texas summers are so hot bbqing outside is so hard. But I would like to say that the biggest fan in our family is my dog. She always gets a few papas bbq ribs as a treat. I know they aren't best for her but she's a senior and living her best life and she prefers their bbq over any other place. Trust me I've stopped on the way from here to Waco and she is the pickiest out of all of us. She is especially a fan of this location here on little york they are always so nice and she may be shy but she does love the attention in the drive thru. I will take her on rides and she knows when we are passing by her favorite place because she will bark and sit on the side of the window waiting for me to put her two rib order in.

  This place never has the complete menu available it's always the same thing "we are out of that" every time i wonder if it would just be better if they just close down and let the next company come in. And properly serve their customers

  Visited through the drive thru. Service was terrible upon arrival, an immediate attitude at the speaker and “is that it?” while I’m literally in the middle of ordering. Didn’t even get my total at the speaker which already seemed strange. Got to the window. Still was never told my order. She only mentioned one of the items that ordered, then when I asked if she had the other item as well, again with the attitude. I give her my card, she swipes it and puts it down near the register which was also strange to me, then grabbed my food, threw it out the window and closed it before I could even open my mouth to say “you still have my card”. So as I’m waiting for her to decide to reopen the window, I go through the bag and check my order, she still doesn’t return, so I park my car and sit there. Finally, she reopens the window of course with more attitude, I say you still have my card, then her expression changes, she slides it from where she put it, hands it to me and just starts laughing because she realizes I caught her trying to steal my card. I drove off and called the manager (Nadia is whom I spoke to) about the incident and letting her know I would be reporting the store. All she said was “thanks for letting me know” as if me calling was a waste of her time, which to me means one of two things, this happens all the time at this location, and/or that she’s clearly aware and in on it as well. Regardless, it’s fair to say I’ll never be back here and I’ve already requested a new card with my bank. Stealing while at work, very broke behavior.

  Pappas Bar-B-Q delayed the pickup of an online order that had been marked as ready for collection. Despite being informed that the order was ready, we were required to wait in line, resulting in a poor customer service experience. Consequently, I have decided not to return to the establishment and will not provide any further support.

  First I would like to say my husband and his co-workers eat here and this location weekly because their company is within one mile of your establishment. But on sunday july 19 2026 my husband and I hard an early dinner here like we do a lot because we live nearby.My husband ordered the 3 meat trio and I got the large salad with slice brisket, my husband and I had a great dinner. However, 45 minutes after arriving home, I became sick and violently, throwing up with sharp stomach pain and this lasted for around 48 hours so my thoughts are food poisoning because that's about the timeline for food poisoning. I tried to find an email to address you personally. But was it unable to do so I was just letting you guys know in case there was anyone else that got sick that day or the day after! Maybe you could check and make sure that the meat temperatures are being met correctly or something in the salad, or the dressing which was ranch dressing.
