  Hadn't been here in a while. I ordered a sliced brisket plate with green beans and dirty rice. The brisket was tender and excellent, rice good, green beans while the presentation was nice, they could be steamed just a bit longer. Other than that, I will definitely be back again.

  So houston should stick to seafood leave the bbq to Austin .i work out of our houston location a lot so I have seen and finally went and had pappas bbq the sausage was mid ,the turkey was very fatty the rib was very bland I compare it to dickies bbq ,but slightly below bill millers .I will not be spending my hard earned dollars here 3 stars .the staff is great though 👌

  Went to pickup my order from the window I placed through DoorDash since their website refused to take my card for some reason. The guy at the window immediately tells me that for DoorDash orders I have to go inside. Okay sure but it’s my order. He says “Oh, okay, that’s fine”, grabs my order, and hands it to me. Then he tells me they had run out of fries. Keep in mind I ordered a catfish sandwich with an add on (charge) of fries! I also ordered the 2 ribs and brisket meal with sides. That came in the bag. So no offer of a refund for my fries and as I’m headed off, I see NO SANDWICH. I had had a chaotic night so in a way I was counting on the food to be right, my fault. Before I pulled off, the server at the window, laughs, and offers a replacement side. Since I go to Papas BBQ often, I was honestly surprised to know they had “run out of fries”. That was just a lie to keep my meal! And just barely being able to dispute with DoorDash, I was so frustrated because I felt like he played in my face! I don’t respect any person like that or any business that allows subpar behavior. He was trifling and so while my mom enjoyed her plate at home. She offered me her food, which shouldn’t have been and I ate my small side of rice. Insane. I spent so much! Y'all don’t ever have to worry about getting my business again, whether through DoorDash or otherwise.

  I’m very disappointed.I always come to Pappas for my baby back ribs.I spend 25 to 30 dollars for the Trio or the 1/2 rack of baby backs whole meal.Each time the baby back ribs are so dry I had to trash them, and that’s the second time at the Pappas on NW Freeway.Something definitely is off and I will not buy those anymore just not what I’m used too.Dissatisfied 😔

  I want here for the game pack of ribs and wing and a few other stuff now taste great but the price was high we also ordered the brisket by the pound and I might say very very disappointed all i had was slop and fat no meat had to dig for pieces of meat(which wasn't much) also Wait time horrible (order online and still waited close to 1hr) all in all the workers were trying there best but quite a mess kitchen was chaotic
