This is a new location, and it’s clear the team is still in training, as processes and standards are still being established. I ordered a bread bowl with broccoli cheddar soup, but the soup and bread were served separately, and the bread was not warmed.
When I requested that the bread be warmed at the pick-up counter, it took four employees to address the request. The first seemed unsure if the bread could be warmed and had to ask a colleague. The second employee was also unfamiliar with the process. While waiting, the team lead in the dining area came over to ask what the issue was, but she did not take further action. Finally, a corporate trainer approached the kitchen staff, appeared frustrated, and asked what was wrong. She then handed the bread back to me, stating it was already warmed—it had been handled by four different employees by that point, so it should be.
Additionally, despite the number of employees present, several tables were still dirty. I appreciate the team’s effort and friendliness, and I understand this location is still new, but it seems there is room to improve efficiency and training.
