  We celebrated wife's birthday and enjoyed the Houston Restaurant Week menu. Food was excellent. Our server was pleasant and efficient and made sure we were not rushed. Mortons is regular stop for us. We enjoy the classic decor and service is always superb. And the food is always excellent.

  We celebrated our anniversary and had the most amazing time!! Nina was not only knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful but genuinely the greatest waitress we have ever had! She entirely made our night and knocked all standards out of the park. She truly was the highlight of our experience. Our dinner was outstanding. We had a wonderful appetizer. She recommended the shrimp calabria based on our likes and was of course amazing. Then we tried an 18oz Australian Waygu Ribeye paired with au jus. Cooked PERFECTLY. They even set up our table and took photos for us! Overall, I cannot wait to be back. Huge thank you to all staff and of course especially Nina for making our night. If you have the chance to ever go, GO!

  We had reservations and arrived early and they were able to seat us right away. Our server Mo was great. He was very attentive and gave us great recommendations. Food came out fast and was hot and everything was good, but my wife witnessed a to go container drop on the floor and they attempted to use it anyway until she made the server aware. Server trays was dropped behind the towel warmers and they did not sanitized it. Other then those observations everything else was great. Will definitely be back and will recommend. This was our Anniversary dinner

  My husband and I came here to enjoy the Restaurant Week menu, and we were absolutely delighted with the experience! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was excellent. Our server, Nina, was awesome. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, with impeccable service and such a wonderful attitude. She truly made us feel very welcome and made our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back!

  Morton's The Steakhouse in Downtown Houston continues to be one of my favorite lunch spots in the city. If you haven't tried their lunch menu, you're missing out. We started with the pan seared dumplings, which had a perfectly crispy bottom and were packed with flavor. The French onion soup was rich, cheesy, and exactly what you hope for, and the creamed spinach was absolutely outstanding. It was creamy, fresh, and easily one of the best sides on the table. For the main course, we had the lunch filet, served with mashed potatoes and gravy, along with another filet paired with a loaded baked potato. Both steaks were cooked perfectly, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. Every bite reminded us why Morton's has such a great reputation. The fresh bread they bring to the table is always a nice touch and the perfect way to start the meal. What keeps bringing us back, though, is the people. A special thank you to Michael Graham for always stopping by to say hello. He genuinely makes every visit feel personal and welcoming. It's those small moments that make Morton's feel less like a restaurant and more like coming home. If you're looking for an incredible steak lunch in Downtown Houston with consistently excellent food and service, Morton's should be at the top of your list. We'll definitely be back
