  We ordered one of the chef’s specialties, the Texas redfish, and my wife had a wagyu cut both were excellent. The wine is also very well curated. Coming from France, I had high expectations, and I was not disappointed. Kudos to the chef !

  Went to McCormick and Schmidt for mother's Day. Made reservations for 2:30pm. Sever came about 2:45pm to take drink order about 10 minutes later received drink. Food order was taken and was asked if I wanted bread. Bread came about 45 minutes later. Was advised waiting for bread to come out the oven. Did also, ordered appetizers that came with bread. When I did get my food it was COLD ❄️🥶

  Tried the Swordfish casino… there was no flavor to the dish. Very bland. The staff did take it away as I replaced it with the pork chop. I just went along with it even though it tasted like lamb. Very watery and lacked flavor as well. My group then proceeded to order dessert. I passed as I was already dissatisfied with the meal. Don’t recommend

  This place has always been a staple!!! Toni the manager as well as the persona who sat us was extremely helpful!! Our cook Sean was phenomenal! We had a nice waiter: however I must be honest, when I and a friend walked in, we were met with inappropriate comments made by a random waiter(not our waiter) he asked “Where did we come from?”… I stated we came from where everyone else came from”! he stated that’s why we don’t have a menu”… No that’s not why we don’t have a menu!!! Toni Told us to help ourselves to the patio! It was extremely inappropriate, as we were the only women of color. I’ve lived in HTX for 13 years!!! I’ve never experienced this type of discrimination before! However, I told Toni and Sean and they were extremely professional and assured me that M&as does not approve of this behavior! They apologized and made sure to let us know that the company does not support this type of behavior. They made sure to give us great service and accommodate this!Edwin our waiter was amazing! he boxed our food and made sure everything was phenomenal! He was a real sweet heart.overall this place is professional and worthy of atleast a try!! The servers are amazing! The staff is amazing, and everything is great! please make sure to visit this place! The food is great!

  They are very inconsistent here. This is my experience over a three week period. First, I ask for a medium burger and it comes to me well done. The following week, since they overcooked my burger the week before, I asked for it medium rare and it came to me medium well. This week I asked for the burger rare and it came to me rare. However, while the previous burgers came with a side of both mayo and mustard, as well as ketchup, this third time the plate had only ketchup on the side. The bartenders never asked if I needed anything with my meal and they did not bring me my check when I asked for it; continued making drinks for others. There was a customer at the bar next to me swearing incessantly into the phone with whomever he was speaking to. This most recent occurrence was on Tuesday,April 28, and I went to the host stand to speak with a manager about the inconsistencies with the food as well as about the patron’s behavior sitting next to me. He basically just criticized me for not having a bartender get a manager about the situation. This manager did nothing nor said anything to the obscene acting customer while I was in the restaurant. Management here is terrible! The manager I dealt with was completely callous, exhibiting no signs of empathy, and did nothing positive about the situation in my presence; he was only critical that I did not get the bartenders involved, who acted as though they were too busy to do their job in the first place. UPDATE: In the past I have responded to the email that Landry's gave in reply to this review. They never replied, though I provided all the information they requested. Do not waste your time attempting to deal with Landry's corporate!
