  First and foremost, I want to say that we had a fantastic experience at Little's Oyster Bar. I did some searching on Google for a good seafood spot to take my wife for Mother’s Day, and I’m really glad I gave Little’s Oyster Bar a chance. It was a wonderful experience. We arrived about an hour early since we were already in the area, and they were very welcoming. Joey approached us and let us know we could sit outside and enjoy a couple of drinks while we waited. He made sure our family was taken care of throughout the night. The menu is fairly small, but that is what makes it so good. It is not overwhelming, it's just right. I also like that they offer off menu specials if you are a regular. The oysters were amazing. I have had the privilege of enjoying oysters at Borough Market in London, as well as at fine dining restaurants throughout Europe, and I can honestly say the quality here is just as good. I am glad I gave this Pappas Restaurants a chance, and we will definitely be going back. Service was attentive and consistent from the moment we arrived through the end of our meal.   Our experience at Little's Oyster Bar was exceptional from start to finish. This restaurant truly upholds the Pappas brand with incredibly fresh and flavorful food that leaves you completely satisfied. We will absolutely be returning! The restaurant stays busy, so I highly recommend making a reservation. My husband and I happened to be in the area and stopped by without one. Thankfully, Brian warmly welcomed us and let us know there were two seats available at the end of the bar. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel comfortable and valued. He even went above and beyond by providing detailed descriptions of the menu items. Steven, who was behind the bar making drinks, was equally impressive. He thoughtfully shared descriptions of his cocktail mixes and paid close attention to detail. His service was truly five-star. Sara took our order and checked in regularly to make sure everything was perfect. Joey also came over to introduce himself and personally welcomed us after learning it was our first visit. He even boxed up my leftovers for me since we needed to head home to watch the San Antonio Spurs game. Overall, the entire staff provided top-tier hospitality. The food, drinks, and service were all outstanding, and they made us feel welcomed like family. I highly recommend this restaurant — you will leave beyond satisfied!

  So I heard about this place from "Eat like a local" and when coming here I knew I was going to order the red snapper. Nope, I ordered the lobster gnocchi instead. This is probably the most I have ever paid for a dinner. But everything we ordered was very delicious. To the pasta pecheur, jumbo lumb crab cake, to the seafood le peir tower, even the carrot cake dessert. My stepdaughter even loved the food and she's super picky on what she eats. But alone I would come back just for the fried eggplant, seriously I'm not kidding you. That alone is worth it. To one fire horse to a Hollywood entrepreneur, Dane took great care of us and explained everything perfectly. Thank you Dane, for such a great night. Maybe next time, just me and my girl though. I know it's pricey but I highly recommend this place!! And If you get Dane as a server, tell him a fire horse said "Hi!" Thank you for your birthday words and again such a great night. Just remember on the opposite side of where the bbq restaurant is to this restaurant is free parking. But you can always use the vallet as well. A++ P.S. they have a very clean restroom too.

  Seated by Hailey, she was DELIGHTFUL served by Geo and Niko, accommodated by Chef Zach…. Every single part of the experience was spectacular. I googled, “best fish in Houston” The off menu Hamachi OMG The east coast oysters and POMEGRANATE COCKTAIL SAUCE 🤤 The grilled 🐙 and sauce SO DELICIOUS The grouper, mashed potatoes sooo delicious Salt and pepper fries WITH AIOLI 👨‍🍳 💋

  I can't get enough of this place. It's not just the excellent cuisine... It's the service. When you're seated, you feel as though the people who work at The Little Oyster Bar absolutely love what they do. You can tell from the lack of "it's not my job I'll get your server" attitude of every single employee. Anyone is more than happy to help you. The chef is ah-mazing too! He's got this quiet intensity where you can tell he takes pride in his work and is happy to meet you and get your feedback. This place is ALWAYS packed and yet somehow they're always happy to welcome even last minute diners with a VIP level type of attention. Can't wait to return!
