We made a reservation for 7:30pm and had to wait until 8:30 to be seated. It took another 20-30 minutes before our server greeted us and took our drink order. It was another hour before we got our food. After being held hostage for 3 hours we finally left at 10:30pm.
The manager walked by several times and tried his best to avoid eye contact. No apology or attempt to expedite any service. This was honestly the worst dining experience I’ve had in Houston in a very long time.
5 Stars without a doubt! I dined here for Restaurant Week a couple of days ago, and I am already planning to become a regular.
While options can sometimes be limited during Restaurant Week, their set menu was thoughtfully designed with fantastic choices. The ambiance and decor are absolutely stunning and elegant (you can see from the photos). The crowd here is very well-dressed and refined, and despite the cool weather outside, the vibe inside was warm and welcoming. On top of that, the service was top-notch from start to finish, and the $10 valet parking at the entrance was super convenient and affordable.
Every single dish exceeded my expectations:
• Complimentary Appetizer Pizza: They served a very unique and delicious pizza bread as a complimentary appetizer, which was a wonderful touch to start the meal!
• Braised Lamb Shank with Risotto: We ordered the lamb shank over risotto (featured in my photo). The lamb shank was huge and cooked to perfection, but the risotto underneath was somehow even more incredible! Since it was part of the Restaurant Week special, I really hope they bring it to their regular menu!
• Picture Cocktail Menu & Drinks: I loved how user-friendly the drink menu is—they actually include photos for each cocktail so you know exactly what you’re ordering. I ordered the "Sicilian Sunset," and it was easily the best cocktail I’ve had in Texas! Gorgeous, delicious, and served in a generous portion size that lasted perfectly throughout my entire meal.
• Next Visit's Goal: I kept smelling an amazing aroma from a nearby table, so I checked the main dinner menu and took a photo—it turned out to be the "Pasta alla Ruota" (tableside black truffle pasta). It smelled so intoxicating that I’ve already decided it’s the first thing I’m ordering on my next visit!
Everything about this evening—the ambiance, the service, and the food—was flawless. Zero disappointments. Highly recommend!

We recently celebrated a birthday dinner with our daughter. the restaurant is beautiful and the staff well trained and attentive! the meals were ok, nothing special or memorable. the side roasted potatoes tasted old and rewarmed. the pears/apple on my salad were bit browned, not fresh. the biggest disappointment were the desserts. we ordered the lemon meringue, bread pudding and cheesecake. they were HUGE servings, ate very little of them and took them home. the following day they were still awful and were thrown away. for a restaurant of this caliber, I highly recommend making the meals and especially the desserts worth a return visit.

We’re from out of town and decided to treat our family to dinner here. We had an exceptional experience! The waitstaff was very attentive, and the chefs did an amazing job.
The crab and shrimp cheesecake was absolutely delicious and definitely one of our favorites. We also tried some of the pasta dishes, which were great. To finish off the night, we ordered the ice cream tower, which was perfect for sharing with everyone and came with plenty of fun toppings.
Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and would definitely come back. If we had one recommendation, adding some music to the outdoor patio would make the atmosphere even better! Thank you Julia Marcus and Jose! I believe.

I chose this restaurant because I was looking forward to a nice dinner on the patio. The patio itself is beautiful, but when we arrived it was almost completely empty and we were seated along the bushes, even though there were plenty of other tables available.
I do want to mention that the food was very good, and our waiter was friendly and attentive throughout the evening.
Unfortunately, once our food was served, we were swarmed by dozens of flies. The staff brought over small table fans in an attempt to help, which I appreciated, but they just weren’t enough to keep the flies away. It became so difficult to enjoy our meal that I ended up having my entrée packed to go because I couldn’t comfortably eat it.
We had originally planned on ordering dessert, but by that point we just wanted to leave because of the flies.
I would absolutely come back because the food and service were great, but the fly situation on the patio really needs to be addressed. It’s hard to enjoy an otherwise wonderful meal when you’re constantly trying to keep flies off your food.
