Honestly, I love coming back. Its sometimes hard to believe that a spot that has a gimmick (being Lord of the Rings Themed) also has time to be delicious...but it is. Im never dissapointed with my meal. I always leave craving more. On top of that the food always feels so fresh.
I had Boramir's Boudin Burger, so madly good! Took it a step further and did the meade flight. Not much of a meade man, but the blackcurrent was so good I had to grab an extra.

A fun themed spot, large portions, great service and friendly folk. We enjoyed an early Father's Day celebration. We first learned of this spot in April while on the book crawl, but resisted in order to bring hubby ... he was a fan of the theme-ing. They make a darn good burger, the hummus was awesome and could honestly be a meal in itself. The onion rings were ok, but not something we'd get again. We had key lime pie and the cheesecake, they were not our favorite, but it wasn't made in house- which showed. Service was great, attentive and helpful, all around a place we will visit again!

Cannot review the food as we left before getting seated. That being said, the hostess looked at us like we had three heads and made it seem like she was doing us a favor after we had to ask to be put on the seating list. We waited around for 20 minutes without getting seated while there were plenty of open tables, Ended up going to a restaurant down the street that seemed appreciative of our business.

I wanted to like this place but the sandwhich I received was just bad and the service was too. I got the Smaug's Delight with the Arkenstone Upgrade and it was just a gooey slop sandwhich on wheat - pretty flavorless all around except for the bacon. The server kept forgetting things - the mead, the water, the napkins, and I had to ask for each of these twice. Maybe it was a one-off experience. Their mead list looks intriguing and the live music is nice. Good atmosphere. Everyone was nice. Again, I want to like this place. Smaug's Burger looks better maybe I'll try that next time.

We had a long wait time to be seated. The hostess must have been having a rough day because she was not warm and inviting at all. Anna our waitress was great though, and so was our food! We ordered the dwarvin quesadilla on flour instead of corn(really good, but messy), a blue wizard lemonade(good, but a little tart), and the Morgoth burger(super huge, lots of meat, and so good, with the two of us we only ate half of it, so be prepared to be stuffed if you order it).
