So glad we got to check this place out for a bit to pickup some travel stuff and essentials for our hotel room. Shout out to one of the managers, Fauna, who gave us great recommendations in her section. She is very knowledgeable and friendly! A lot of the employees are also friendly, whether they were smiling or offering help. I was expecting our grocery bill to be around $150, but spent just under $100. My favorite place to shop in Texas!

I was sold more than 2 pounds of Alaskan Snow Crab that was spoiled, slimy and smelled absolutely horrible! There's absolutely no way that the Seafood Department didn't know that they were selling product that was in this horrible of a condition! I also had something similar happen to me at a large regional chain grocery store in New Mexico, but only a quarter of their Snow Crab was dried out and in inedible condition whereas this HEB purchase was flatout spoiled, slimy, horrible smelling and was 100% inedible! I wouldn't advise buying Snow Crab these days. I have had far better luck with other breeds of crab!

RUDEST FEMALE CASHIER!! Start with Z??cant remember😡😡 my blueberries fell over accidentally. Too many groceries is NOT my responsibility so go work elsewhere!! I have fought serious nerve damage 1 year with poor doctor feedback. Shoutout to bagger guy (forgot his name; spoke to manager or guy in blue idk name) please help her understand never meant “throw bag at her” not my fault people have been SO disrespectful on the road with their profanity signs and I don’t do that… we all have issues but MAYBE I would have been NICER if nerve damage was NOT recurring problem!!!😡😡😡❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 “dont throw bag at me sir” so I explain w/ blueberries falling!! (Again “ Don’t throw the bag at me, sir” SO ANNOYED its not anybody’s fault so blame my stress, other issues as explained 2x😡😡 I think we all want to get along regardless of tough times!! Ridiculous attitude🙄🙄🙄

The staff at this location is rude. I am a huge H-E-B fan and have shopped almost exclusively at H-E-B for the last decade. I’ve never had an experience of H-E-B staff being consistently rude or not customer service focused. The H-E-B culture seems strong and focused on positive customer experiences. We moved to the area about seven months ago and originally I wrote some interactions off as isolated experiences, but the attitude of the staff seems to be a top down problem. In general, much of the staff lacks warmth, friendliness, smiles, and just general positive customer service that HEB is known for. Christian, who is a manager or a leader, was not very polite tonight. I bought the fresh berry mix that was packaged today and when I got home it was slimy. Customer service was already closed so I walked up to him and asked would I be able to return this even though customer service was closed. He advised he could take me on a lane. During the transaction, a cashier processed the return and he was overseeing. He did not apologize for the inconvenience or the bad berries, he did not smile once, he barely made eye contact and generally just seemed like it was a ridiculous concept for me to want to return $10 of slimy fresh berries I had purchased 15 minutes ago. If a leader handles customer interactions this way, you’re telling your staff that it’s OK to have that attitude. I also had a disappointing experience with Jachob in the bakery about a month ago. I went to get a custom cake and Jachob couldn’t answer most of the very basic questions I had, like do I need to pick a filling if I’m getting a sheet cake - he didn’t know. It got to where I just said OK, thanks anyway and went to Kroger to get a cake instead because I didn’t feel confident I would get the cake I was ordering. I’ve lived all over Texas and this is the only location I’ve had consistently bad interactions at. I’m a diehard H-E-B fan and it’s really sad to write this, but this store needs a major attitude overhaul.
