- NHNadia HoustonSep 23, 20261.0This HEB in general does a lot right. I like HEB as a whole, but there's one glaring issue that has knocked down the rating a lot for me. This HEB is in a neighborhood and close enough to my house that I could easily bike to it if I wanted to, but this HEB does not have any sort of bike rack or place to lock up your bike. I've seen local kids and teenagers going to the store to purchase things either for themselves or for their parents, lock their bikes or scooters up to an outside bench since that is their only option. Once there's a bike rack added that is easily accessible and not tucked away in some corner, I'll be more than happy to change my review.

It seems like the employees here do not understand or consistently follow the rules regarding cash assistance after the card. I have come to this same location before and received my cash assistance without any problem, so I was very confused when I was treated differently this time. I was also standing in line waiting while an employee was looking at me through the window, yet no one bothered to communicate with me or acknowledge the wait. When I finally received assistance, the employee was rude and did not even offer a simple apology for the wait or explain what was going on. Customers should not have to stand around wondering what is happening, especially when an employee can clearly see them waiting. If the policy has changed, then employees need to be properly trained and communicate that policy respectfully and consistently. I will be contacting H-E-B Corporate to address this situation because this experience was unacceptable. I expect better customer service and better communication from H-E-B, especially when I have previously received the same service at this location without an issue.
