  This is with regard to curb side- sick and tired of being given items literally a day to expiration. When I go in to shop I literally only see fresh made cornbread in the bakery. Surprisingly when I get it from curbside it’s 2 days old— shelf life of Pepsi is 6 to 9 months and yet the Pepsi they give me is set to expire in 2 weeks. I won’t even go into produce. Just know that if you get curbside these are the issues you will face. Note to self- when using curbside do not order anything other than canned goods and non perishables!

  Beware of using your credit or debit cards here! Going on two weeks now, a pharmacy employee charged my card for a purchase that wasn’t mine. The two transactions they were working on were just too much to keep separate. I paid for someone else’s prescription. Now 9 days later the pharmacy manager David and the rest of the management keep telling me my refund has been issued. Yet, my bank has no transaction, not one pending or that one was even given back to me. They argue with me, tell me my bank is at fault, yet my bank clearly shows not any transaction was ever refunded back. The lack of care or ability for managing this with so called managers, is beyond ridiculous. This is what they think of customers or now what used to be customers. They know their employee made a mistake. But, they refuse to fix it. They don’t want to give me back the money and the transaction was fraudulently done. This management team does not care about its customers. The home office I have spoken to as well, they said “not their problem as well” now I will have to cancel my card, incur the cost of a new one, and spend however much time transferring my auto pay accounts and still won’t get the $44 and change they stole from me. This is your neighborhood HEB. They have to pay the Texans and the Astros for their commercial spots, this is how they do it. By fraudulently charging a customers card and refusing to give back what they stole. And they will never give it back. It’s my problem. And my bank has lied to me as well. So disappointing.

  The Vintage Market location has gone downhill these last couple of years. They no longer carry many of the organic products/brands anymore, so now I have to go to multiple stores to get what I need. Their HEB Organic products while organic are not the best tasting or contains seed oils. Their extremely limited organic produce is either rotten or molds within days of purchase. I now buy most of my organic produce at Whole Foods or Sprouts. Also be careful on purchasing packaged meats when on sale. They have a habit of not removing the tare weight when weighing the meat so the weight increases from the regular price to the sales price. They still have the best grocery store prime and natural steaks in the area and a quality Deli Department.

  Came in to purchase few items in hand. As I reach for a bottle in the door-less refrigerator, I couldn’t help but notice an employee from right behind with a handheld device. I thought little of it and proceeded to checkout. Lo and behold there she is again near me at checkout with that device. Greetings were never extended and help was never offered; proper home education solves this problem. Whether HEB seeks those qualities or cultivates them, in this experience it appears to be neither.
