My favorite HEB so far! Some HEBs are better than others and this one seems to always have better inventory, selection, promotions and clearances, and marketing. The Japanese food section here also seems to put put higher quality food, particularly their HEB fried rice. Great quality for $7-9 meal. This same fried rice meal is cooked lesser at other locations, so I know they put their heart into it here.

HEB in Tomball, TX has become one of my favorite grocery stores to visit. The staff is always welcoming, professional, and ready to help no matter how busy the store gets. From the front-end cashiers to the employees stocking shelves, everyone treats customers with respect and positive energy. The store is always clean, organized, and fully stocked with a huge variety of fresh produce, quality meats, bakery items, and international products. I especially appreciate how easy it is to find what I need thanks to the helpful employees throughout the store. The checkout experience is fast and smooth, and the customer service truly stands out compared to many other grocery stores. You can tell the team works hard to keep the store running efficiently while still making customers feel welcomed. Great atmosphere, excellent staff, and one of the best shopping experiences in Tomball.

Ryan performed excellent while attending customer service desk. Joshua and Cecelia self check out mainined perfect teamwork to attend customers at self check out. Larissa at register 10 had a friendly smile and attended her check out line in a timely manner. Melany and Jenifer in bakery provided informational help in the bakery to assist with the location on many cakes.

I am hurt and disappointed in the quality standards for products that heb is putting out these days. Heb won my heart 4 years ago when moving here from Nevada but today I believe they lost a customer in me . I bought this meat today and brought it home to cook and I feel sick looking at it . I hope by providing these pictures is to get clarification as to why the meat is bright pink on the outside and brown on the inside. Is it dye? Is it fresh meat wrapped over old meat?? Why ?? I hope I can get answers because this is unacceptable.

I’m extremely disappointed with this H-E-B location. What used to be one of the best places for quality food has gone downhill significantly. Starting with the meat market — the quality is unacceptable. The bacon-wrapped jalapeños looked like they had been sitting out for days, with the bacon pale and lacking any freshness or color. On top of that, I noticed flies in the meat area, which is a serious concern. The bakery isn’t any better. The bread is consistently overbaked and extremely hard. I bought a large loaf of French bread and had to throw away the ends because they were so tough they were basically inedible, even after warming it up. I also purchased a cake, and the inside was dry and hard — completely disappointing. To make matters worse, prices have gone through the roof, yet the quality has dropped across the board. It’s frustrating to pay more and receive less. Overall, I can’t recommend this location anymore. The quality, freshness, and attention to detail just aren’t there like they used to be.
