- RPRodster Piper5 days ago2.0Store is for a lower class persons . Slightly dirty, ever so seedy. Shelf stockers seem to be irritated that your in the store, in their way stocking. Common stock, no high end high quality unique items. Yes very common. Beef has been sold that was bad. As in off as in rotting. Not all HEB are the same. Then it hit me ...I don't have to shop there.

But when you get to the register, the cashier says you can’t use the coupon on Variety Mix candy bags under 48.1 oz. Had to get the mgr who did correct it. Didn’t Krogers recently get in trouble for defrauding customers? Maybe it’s time to investigate HEB?

- MBMm BeardOct 13, 20263.0This is NOT the typical HEB. I have 3 bad experiences here - 2 on Sat nites and 1 during the week day. Just plain rude and with plenty of snarkiness and attitude. My latest rudeness was on a Saturday night. I tried to exit out of the door that closes early (outside sign says 9pm), but exit was closed at 8:20 pm. When I interrupted the floor manager ( black shirt) from her not work related conversation as to why it was locked - "They make us lock it at 8pm." When I asked her if they could update the sign - "I'll ask but I doubt they will do it.". And went back to chatting with the co-worker. No 'I apologize or sorry for the inconvenience '. I mention it because it was already dark and I purposefully parked close to that door to minimize my solo exposure in the parking lot. My other bad experience was about an idle sacker not moving to my Cashier's lane to sack my 10+ bags to make the line go faster. I haven't ever experienced such lack of interest and enthusiasm at any of the other HEBs. I get the message. I won't shop at this location again. Day or night. That's what happens when you are the only store in the general vicinity.
