  5/5 because the cleaning lady in the men's bathroom could have by all rights made me wait until she was done to go to the bathroom. I was dying: I'd just driven for 45 minutes from the airport after a LONG flight and too much coffee and Efes and I HAD TO GO. So, thank you whoever you are: Couldn't see name tag and didn’t want to ask her name in the men's room for obvious reasons. Good selection of beers, right off of Katy Freeway and only 6 minutes to In N Out. Can't get much better than that. I've been to some HEB locations in Corpus Christi and Lubbock that were terrifying and made you double check your car was locked: this one was a good crowd.

  I usually love HEB as it is comforting and usually has professional staff. Although a particular worker in the florist department has changed my opinion. I picked my flowers out which was only about 20 flowers. I went to go ask if she could arrange them, I made eye contact with her while waiting at her desk, but she instead ignored me and started a conversation with another worker while I, a CUSTOMER waited. When she finally attended me, she gave me a very unpleasantly rude tone and complained about the amount of flowers, she said a bouquet would take way too much time out of her day, which was very confusing to me because she had enough time to have a long conversation with another worker while I waited. I asked if she could instead just simply put the flowers in a vase, she still refused and said “Don’t you understand im busy?” When she finally did her JOB she handled the flowers aggressively and continuously gave me disturbing looks.

  HEB never disappoints! I want to especially congratulate them on their excellent cheesecakes. They are always fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. Every time I bring one to a family gathering or celebration, everyone loves it and asks where I got it. The quality is consistently outstanding, and the variety of flavors makes it hard to choose just one. Thank you, HEB, for offering such delicious desserts and for always maintaining such high standards. Highly recommended!

  I am writing to share a recent experience at the H-E-B located at 1550 Fry Road (77084) that fell far below the service standards I expect. I visited the store to purchase shrimp and cod. When the employee behind the counter finished bagging the items, they did not hand them to me; instead, they threw the package onto the counter toward me. I want to be very clear: I was nothing but polite during this entire interaction, and I even said "thank you" to the individual despite their hostile behavior. I brought this to the attention of the store management at the time. While the manager on duty offered an apology for the employee’s actions, I feel it is necessary to document this as it was completely unacceptable behavior. I hope management takes the necessary steps to ensure that all customers are treated with basic respect. It is disappointing to have such a negative interaction at a store where I usually enjoy shopping.

  I always come to this store and have loved HEB for years, but after my experience yesterday, I will not be returning. While using self-checkout, an employee dressed in a suit asked me, “Did you pay for that?” even though she had clearly just watched me scan the item and it was still visible on the checkout screen. I understand employees have a job to do, but the way the situation was handled felt accusatory and embarrassing. I’ve lived in this area for three years and have shopped here regularly without any issues. This interaction left me feeling profiled and disrespected as a paying customer. Because of this experience, HEB has lost my business moving forward.
