I was truly impressed with Kayleen in curbside pickup. She was very sweet, prompt and professional. She made sure that my eggs were in a safe place and also made sure everything was exactly where I wanted. The entire process was painless and quick! She gets two thumbs way up! 👍🏾👍🏾

I would give 0 stars if possible. Why do you have lunch meat from December out for purchase in May????? And the instant shopper didn’t see it nor did I. The expiration date was so small and I would assume the packaged food would be fresh enough to eat right after purchase. Like what if I had gotten food poisoning?? This is not the first time I’ve bought something from HEB and then found it to be expired. Could never be Wegmans or Publix on their worst day.

I am leaving a one-star review due to a disappointing customer service experience on Sunday, April 26, 2026, around 5:00 PM. After checking out with a cashier in one of the middle lanes, I returned to my car and noticed an unfamiliar charge on my receipt for a $29 mushroom item that I did not purchase. I brought all of my groceries back into the store to resolve the issue, but I had difficulty finding assistance. I first approached an employee collecting carts, who directed me toward customer service but mentioned it might be closed. When I arrived, it was indeed closed. I then asked another employee for help, but was simply told to go to a register, despite the long lines. Eventually, I found a shorter line and asked a cashier for assistance. She processed the refund, but there was no communication during the interaction, and a manager was needed to complete the transaction. Ironically, the same employee I had previously approached was called over to authorize the refund. While the issue was ultimately resolved and I appreciated the refund, the overall experience felt unwelcoming and disorganized. I left feeling as though I had inconvenienced the staff rather than received assistance as a customer. There was no "i am sorry for the inconvenience, let me make things right for you in just a moment" where is a customer service? How can you make sure your cashiers charge the customer correct amount?

Yesterday April 20th, 2026 at around exactly 3:00p.m. forgot which lane number but the receipt says my cashier was Kennedy P. I would like to complain about Kennedy P's bagger, not Ms. KP herself. The bagger put my raw seafood and ground meat in the same bag as my fresh produce. Which is a Healthcode violation. When she put the raw meat in my produce bag I immediately confronted her and told her that that's a party foul. She then lied and told me she didn't cross contaminate when I could see with my own eyes that she was lying. I then told her that was unacceptable. She started giving me attitude and HUGE sniffy, snarky, and sarcastic facial remarks. Very nasty attitude towards me. Luckily my uncle was there to diffuse the situation. Take into account my mother was a dialysis patient for a decade of my life. She survived the pandemic and recently had a kidney transplant a couple weeks ago. The doctor/surgeon told her to be very careful and to be as sterile as possible. Kennedy was also apologetic and covered for her bagger bur the spoiled little brat of a bagger just kept acting like a Damn clown taking no accountability nor responsibility. Kennedy demonstrated professionalism while her bagger was the opposite. Please take into consideration my mother is frail, fragile, delicate, and weak. She has undergone multiple open heart surgeries lately and is administering a lot of anti-rejection medicine to cope with the organ transplant, she also has a lot of scar tissue and fluid build up that once a week she needs to go to the Medical Center to get it drained out. I don't tolerate people who can care less of my mother's health and put her life into jeopardy. Please apprehend and/or remove her from your store before I do. Her attitude sticks from a mile away. I don't believe in damaging my favorite stores, but I need to take swift action and respond accordingly. I really want the GM/owner to read this to know that their employees are gambling with people's lives. I will eventually delete this review because I am infatuated with supporting local economies but this HEB is not one that I will return too. Please scold and re-educate that bagger before she hurts or worse kills someone. Again, Kennedy really is the star of the show but that girl needs to learn a lesson.
