  I went into the Gulf Gate location June 30th before 9:00 p.m. just to shop for a few items I proceeded to go to get a shopping cart where they are stationed near the produce entrance area and I noticed that the produce entrance was closed off already. I got my shopping cart and proceeded to enter from the front of the store making my way to an aisle and not realizing that it was a self-checkout aisle. There were two self-checkout employees in that area. They both started walking towards me the one that was walking last stated to me to go around which I heard loud and clear. The other employee that was walking first towards me stating the same thing after the fact and proceeded to push my basket into me as I was leaning on it already backing up. I stopped right there and then and told her not to push my basket into me that I already heard what the lady told me and besides I'm disabled that's why I'm leaning on the basket. The situation caught me off guard and I was in disbelief. I asked her what's wrong with you are you crazy pushing the basket into me. She just looked at me and started giving me an attitude off and fussing with me thinking it was funny when I asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to a manager by the name of George and explain to him the situation and what just happened. He stated that he was going to remove her off the floor which that never happened. She stayed in the self-checkout aisle while I was still shopping. George then calls another manager who was in charge that night by the initials of JB. I explained to him the situation as well. I didn't hear anything from either one of them that they will have a talk with her later or anything of that sort. I did ask George for all of their names as well as the number to corporate office. The employee name in question is Fabiola. H-E-B company really needs to hold employees accountable seriously as they too are a liability. Imagine if Fabiola would have made me lose my balance and fall. H-E-B y'all need to do better for your customers.

  Always busy and packed but I find what I need and staff are friendly. Their cakes are great.

  It’s a convenient here best to go during early morning times as it can get very busy . Parking is not the best since it is located on a big plaza . Hope this helps

  In my experience there's no better store than HEB doesn't matter what City I'm in they always have good prices an an excellent selection.
