- SBSarah BensingerAug 10, 20261.0On the evening of Thursday, August 6th, I accompanied my friend to the bakery to place an order for a cake for her brother's gender reveal. She presented a design she desired and asked if it was within their capabilities. The employee assured us by saying, "That design would be the easiest for them to do." My friend also specifically requested baby blue and pink frosting, which was duly noted and agreed upon. We were told that the cake would be ready for pick-up that Saturday morning. On Saturday, August 8th, we went to pick up the cake. We should have immediately known something was amiss when the cake was presented to us without an initial viewing. To our surprise, the cake did not match the design they had previously agreed upon. My friend was understandably quite shocked and disappointed. The colors were significantly different from what they'd discussed, and the cake's overall appearance was rather unrefined; a toddler might have offered a more pleasing aesthetic. They offered a $10 discount, and when my friend inquired about the possibility of having the cake rectified, the employee informed us that no decorators were scheduled for that day, which I found to be rather unusual. It is perplexing how such a cake was deemed acceptable. The only reason I gave this review one star is that, despite its appearance, the cake's taste was considerably better than its visual presentation. Definitely will never be back.
- AAADAug 9, 20261.0Every single time I shop here, the belts that you place your food on are filthy. The cashiers do not care. Just this morning, milk was clearly spilled on the belt and there was a mess of something sticky and I ACTUALLY HAD TO ASK the cashier to clean it up. Who is going to put their food/ products in milk or some other mystery liquid? This should be common sense. She looked at me like I was crazy, so I told her to just give me the paper towel and I cleaned it myself while she just looked. This has been brought to managements attention previously while I was there in person, which obviously has not made any difference. I will shop elsewhere going forward.
