- YVYvonne VazquezAug 20, 20261.0I am incredibly frustrated with my recent experience at the H-E-B bakery. About a month ago, I visited to inquire about a custom birthday cake. I brought in a design to ensure they could accommodate it, and the staff confirmed they could do it and even provided a price quote. They specifically instructed me to return the week of the birthday to place the order. When I returned as directed, I was told they could no longer make the cake because of the design I had previously shown them. Despite reminding them that I had been assured it was possible and had already received a quote, they refused to honor the initial commitment. Now, with less than 24 hours until the birthday, I am left scrambling to find a replacement. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of communication and the inconsistency in service. I expected much better from H-E-B.
