Literally, I loved this store. But the bakery’s lack of preparedness really grinds my gears! I have stopped coming to this location because they can’t keep one thing in stock past 1 PM, which are the glazed croissants. If they know they’ve very popular and many come & are willing to spend their money, WHY NOT MAKE MORE? These became very popular when they went viral on TikTok And they knew this. They simply said “ oh people come in and buy 12 at a time, you can preorder for tomorrow” 🙄 if you know this and they come in early in the morning, why not make 12 packs? Or Why wouldn’t they make a 3 or 6 count like The other neighboring stores? That’s a solution! I can literally go into the other stores around 5 PM and they still have plenty left. It’s about supplying demand. I see they throw away donuts every day, but they won’t even make the ones people really want. I’ve spoken to the store manager and the bakery manager, and they just refuse to get it together. Therefore, I will continue to go elsewhere which is inconvenient! If other stores can do it, SO CAN THIS ONE! If you don’t want our money just say that!

3 stars because this store is average. The quality is good, and I keep shopping here because it’s next door. But after shopping here ~3 times a week for over three years, it’s surprising that there’s never been any familiarity from the staff. Same faces for years, yet it always feels like I’m walking in for the first time. For a neighborhood HEB, I’d expect a little more personality. Or just a simple “hi, how’s your day - looking for anything in specific?” After that many visits.

I had a very disappointing experience at this H-E-B location today while trying to use my WIC benefits. The staff claimed the WIC system wasn't working, but the way the situation was handled felt completely disrespectful. Instead of being helpful, the employees were rude and acted as if they just didn't want WIC recipients shopping there. Because of their attitude and insistence that it "wouldn't go through," we were forced to leave all of our essential WIC items behind. H-E-B usually prides itself on community service, but this experience made us feel judged and unwelcome. Staff need better training on customer service and handling WIC transactions professionally.
