  We ordered from this HEB for our wedding cake, and after all the good things we heard, we were a bit disappointed. We ordered a three tier cake and it did not have a single dowel keeping the top tier of the cake on. Despite carefully driving the cake to the venue, it almost immediately fell off. Secondly, the cake had the thinnest layer of filling I have ever seen on a cake. It was like a hint of a hint of strawberry. Luckily the cake and frosting still tasted good.

  They had a special with 2 limit per customer. All the cuts/packs of meat look exactly the same. I asked to speak to a manager to let her know that it’s shady to put them in the same section. How many people probably took the packs without looking at the tiny print. The female manager was very rude stating to me that it’s the customer responsibility to read every detail on the yellow tag. Even though they’re the ones that put them all in the same section. That called false advertisement. The cashier was also rude at the end telling me a customer could have put a single pack in that section even after I told them that there are a bunch of the same packages in there in that section with the $7.99lb instead of the 5.77lb.

  CURBSIDE ONLY-I used to love using curbside pickup, but the service has gone significantly downhill. This is now the third order in a row where several items were missing. It has happened before, but over the past few months it feels like a 50/50 gamble whether I’ll receive my full order. In the last three weeks, it seems almost guaranteed that something will be missing — just like it happened again today. What’s even more frustrating is the customer service. The last time I called about forgotten items, I wasn’t met with any apology or concern. Instead, I was bluntly asked if I wanted a refund or if I wanted to drive back to pick up the missing items myself. The response felt snappy and unapologetic. Curbside pickup used to be convenient and reliable, but now it has become disappointing and stressful. I hope they improve their accuracy and customer service soon.

  I love the prepared food this HEB offers and almost every thing else. The only drawback is they almost never have any strawberry sandos available. I have only been able to purchase one since they came out and come here 3 times a week. The other HEB’s I frequent always have some on hand, and usually a lot (5-6). Not sure why this isn’t happening here but thought I’d say something. They clearly sell well and I see unsold sushi when I come here late. Seems like the space could be used for something that sells
