  Walked down from our hotel and was very pleasantly surprised with the service, the special 40th anniversary menu and the spectacular food to include bread service! Start to finish everything was perfect and would go out of our way to eat here again!

  I had heard a lot about this restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. Overall, the food was good and everything tasted decent. The only things I noticed were a somewhat unusual smell in the environment and lighting that felt a little too dim for my preference. Just my personal opinion. Other than that, it was a good experience, and I enjoyed my visit. 👍

  Stopped by for an evening dinner during Houstons Restaurant Week. Overall, the experience was less than expected. Three stars mostly for mixed reviews on the food. It was worth trying due to the price of the restaurant week menu. The full wall mural was a unique part of the decor. While the space is open, the seating arrangement felt cramped. For dinner, I started with the Beet and Ricotta Plate. Presentation was nice, beets tasted fresh although you'd have to search for the ricotta which took away from the balance of the dish. Second course was delicious. The waiter informed me the pasta is made fresh so I ordered the Ravioli Di Gamberi. Anticipating a smaller portion, I decided to added Crab Meat to the dish which honestly was not needed. The ravioli did taste freshly made, the filling and sauce were well seasoned and the portion was plentiful. Caution saying yes to added cheese; I received two large spoonfuls, which I ended up having to take some off myself to not ruin the flavor of the whole dish. Third course was the Pear Panna Cotta. Instead of being silky and light, the texture was bland and dense. Further, it was topped with unripened/undercooked pears. I'd consider returning for another of their homemade pasta dishes, but would look elsewhere for a full dinning experience.

  We tried this restaurant tonight after checking out their rating. It was overall, a very good experience. The server we had, Delfino along with the other servers were attentive to our needs. My wife tried the limoncello spritz and she enjoyed it; very refreshing. They started with the complimentary bread and olive oil mixture for dipping. The bread was warm and fresh while the dip was very tasty. We ordered the lobster bisque, grotto salad and split the Pescatore for our entree. The bisque was rich in flavor and had lumps of lobster to match. We highly recommend it. The grotto salad was not to our liking. This was the only food we tried that disappointed. The Pescatore took a while to arrive however it was well worth the wait. The pasta was cooked right, al dente. The sauce was flavorful and topped with fresh seafood. To all of those seafood enthusiast, we highly recommend this entree.

  This is definitely one of the most talked-about Italian restaurants in Houston, with a great reputation, so I was excited to finally visit. The location is excellent, close to The Galleria and the 610, making it very convenient to get to. As soon as you walk in, you can tell it’s a place that combines elegance with a very welcoming and cozy atmosphere. We didn’t have a reservation, but we were seated right away, which was a great start to the experience. The dishes were well balanced in terms of portion and price, and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The flavor combinations in the sauces were very good and well put together. I was also impressed by how quickly our dishes arrived after ordering. Overall, we had a very good experience, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for quality Italian food in a great Houston location. I also know they have other locations, including one in Downtown Houston and another on Galveston Island, and I’m definitely planning to visit those in the future as well.
