- LELarry Eshleman1 day ago1.0For the first time in my life, I’ve just left a lunch where the restaurant couldn’t fill the order nor even give an ETA for when the food would arrive. I was with a group waiting an hour and a half after ordering with no updates whatsoever. After receiving no reassurance from the manager that the food was even indeed coming in the immediate future, we all left hungry and unsatisfied. I don’t know what caused this, but Grotto management had better fix whatever went fundamentally wrong today before I will even think of ever returning.

Asking a few times to lower the volume without success. We waited more than 1 hr, then we canceled everything. Sorry. Not good.

Lucas, our food server was wonderful and gave us the best food and drink recommendations. Sean, the General Manager was courteous and professional. Both Lucas and Sean brought small town comfort into a big city like Houston! We will be back!
