  Very disappointed with the experience at Gayatri Bhavan. Charging $17.99 for a vegetarian thali is already on the expensive side, but charging an additional $0.99 for extra curry is honestly unreasonable. A thali is supposed to be a complete and satisfying meal, and customers naturally may like one curry more than another. Charging separately for a small extra serving gives a very poor customer experience. On top of that, serving basmati rice with South Indian meals does not feel authentic at all. South Indian thalis are traditionally served with regular steamed rice, and that authenticity matters to customers who come expecting genuine South Indian food. Restaurants should focus on customer satisfaction instead of trying to charge extra for every small thing, especially when the base price itself is already high for a veg thali.

  Beautiful experience. Delicious food. Great ambience and we enjoyed the soft music. Loved all the wall decor and the painting behind the counter.
