- NTNot TodaySep 29, 20261.0So I’ve been a barista for ten plus years and I have worked at Dunkin in Boston before…. Been a big fan of this location until a couple weeks ago. This location has needed help for a little while, but until two weeks ago, the baristas knew what they were doing, and even if they were busy, they were kind. The drinks were delicious and it was a huge part of my week. It was clear that they could use more support from management because they were frequently understaffed, but the baristas were doing the very best that they could. Then it appeared that management did step in or maybe corporate? Unfortunately, the people that have been running the store for the last few weeks have really trashed it. I ordered an iced cloud latte with extra ice so that I could really taste the coffee and the flavors, this SHOULD equate to putting a little less milk into the drink to accommodate the extra ice. Two days in a row, I was given a drink with extra light ice, basically just tasted like kind of flavored milk. The second day that this happened, I requested them to make it again with extra ice and received it again with barely enough ice for it to be regular ice. At this point, I went ahead and asked for a refund for my drink and we waited another five minutes for someone to come over and grab the donut holes that we were still waiting on. When we left the building, my husband showed me the drink that they gave him and it was literally undrinkable. It was supposed to be a Coffee chiller, a smooth blended beverage. It was literally packed with shards of ice that he couldn’t even get up the straw. The woefully unskilled management behind the counter, just kind of rolled their eyes at me, so I went ahead and left the undrinkable drink on the counter and will never be back to this location. I’m so sorry to the baristas that we really enjoyed coming to visit, We really did look forward to coming and seeing you guys grabbing a delicious drink and hitting that tip jar for you.
