- DSDanielle ScottAug 31, 20261.0I typically come to this Chipotle about once a week for dinner and usually order the same thing: a bowl with half chicken/half steak and queso, plus a large chips and queso. My total is normally around $22, so I was shocked when I was charged $30.19. When I asked why the price was so much higher, I was told I had been charged extra for BOTH chicken and steak — even though I only received half portions of each. The manager then came over and told me I “wasn’t allowed” to order half chicken and half steak, which was confusing considering that half-and-half protein is literally an option when ordering through Chipotle’s website/app. What bothered me most wasn’t even the price difference — it was how the situation was handled. The manager seemed dismissive and more interested in getting me out of there than actually listening or explaining the charges. At that point, I told them I no longer wanted the food and asked for my money back, and the food was abruptly pulled away. I’ve been a regular customer at this location, so this was extremely disappointing. I don’t mind paying for what I order, but being charged nearly $8 extra for two full protein portions when I ordered half-and-half makes absolutely no sense. Management could have handled this situation much more professionally.
