  First Trip here, Maggie was Extremely Helpful with Information and Directions, just after arrival After surveying a plentiful and most Impressive display of Meats and Seafood, I encountered Marce. She and another Associate gleefully assisted me in finding the item in Healthy Living that I actually came for while simultaneously Complimenting my Attire, particularly appreciating my Pocket Watch. Each Associate that I encountered greeted me with a Pleasant Smile and Disposition. They were all Friendly, Courteous and Accommodating, as several asked or offered to help. Because of which, I eagerly anticipate returning to this store in the Near Future! If U haven't visited this Cornucopia of Treasures, make Haste, as I suspect that U too will likely be both Pleased and impressed!

  Central Market is such a fun grocery store and easily one of the best places in Houston for finding interesting, unusual products. I feel like every time I go, I discover something new that I didn’t even know existed. The selection is incredible, the store feels very upscale, and the staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. That said, Houston desperately needs another two or three Central Markets because this one is almost always a madhouse. The parking lot is crowded, the store is crowded, and the sandwich line at lunch can be ridiculous. The layout is also basically a maze designed to make you walk past every department before you find what you’re looking for. Somehow, though, wandering through the maze is part of the fun. I do wish the Central Market app worked more like the regular H-E-B app. You can search for an item and see what section it’s in, but it doesn’t give you a useful store map showing where that section actually is. In a store this complicated, that would be incredibly helpful. It’s definitely expensive, and if you fall in love with some small niche product, I wouldn’t necessarily count on it being there forever. But overall, I really enjoy shopping here. Even when I only need a couple of things, I inevitably end up wandering around just to see what interesting new products I can find.

  Customer service could be much much better. The checker at the register did not smile once or engage with me at all. Im spending my hard-earned wages there.

  A great unique supermarket experience for foodies serving Houstonians. It has a large variety of sections serving the daily needs of all residents and visitors. Every sector is truly special with fresh quality products. I personally like the bakery area and the delicious fresh daily bread, sourdough, rye and multigrain a must try in particular, croissants, muffins and baguettes to be tried too. Deserts and cakes are ample. The sandwiches section is an experience by itself and at times mainly on weekends the line is quite long but worth the time. The fish and cheese sections have plenty of variety. The produce and fruits section are quite remarkable, my favorite spot is the freshly squeezed juices area. Daily delicious meals are prepared next to the soup area. Another section to consider is the various chocolates including dark chocolates and coffee beans. Ample free parking. A must visit place in Houston weekly. Prices are affordable and very competitive. All staff are very helpful and courteous. I wish 1 day in future a loyalty card could be introduced for those loyal clientele providing extra perks for the shoppers. Congrats to Houston & God bless all 🌺

  I'm not a sandwich fanatic or anything but these guys make serious "killer" sandwiches! 😋 Best Reuben: add mushrooms, red peppers and avocado! Oh, Reubens don't come with that? Who cares! Live a little à la Anthony Bourdain Don't care for the seating downstairs, though. Upstairs is much, much better 👍 Revamp the downstairs seating and while you're at it, add gelato to the coffee ☕ shop! 👍😎👍
