  I'll start by sharing - I'm a foodie + I love to cook gourmet meals. I love attention to detail when it comes to creating interesting meals. I've been in Houston for the past year, taking care of my parents, who each have homes in the Energy Corridor area. BY FAR - this is the best local restaurant I've had the pleasure to dine at. Live music, the atmosphere, the staff, the dishes - you are literally transported to wonderful experience here. I can feel the intentionality this cafe is rooted in, and it works. Bravo🤌🏼

  The first time I ate here was an accident. I was blown away by the personal attention from the owner an staff. The service was excellent. I had the best prepared (GF) salmon I've ever eaten after years of eating gluten free. Its a quirky cool place with baseball behind the well stocked bar woth beer on tap, and a jazz pianist.

  I recently moved across the street, so I really wanted to like this place, so I finally went try it out. I ordered on the website and went to pick up, and was overall not the best experience. The ceviche had no flavor and had some weird chewy fish. It was incredibly boring. The seafood stuffed mushroom was great though. Also, there was no hostess or server, just the bartender, who was a bit weird and grabbed my phone from my hand to confirm my order, like he literally only had one order waiting, and my name is a bit different, and I had already confirmed it to him, but he kept asking me a billion questions, it was really uncomfortable. I’m not sure what his deal was. I was also a bit annoyed that I had to stand there for a long time before I got any help, the bar was busy, so that was not the bartender’s fault, but why was there nobody else there to help customers? It’s Saturday afternoon, and y’all only have one poor dude doing everything?? Very weird. Do better.
