  I was there yesterday with my family… 4 children… and while I appreciate that bowl and barrel is very child friendly, I was very disappointed with the overall experience. Second Baptist school had reserved more than half of the lanes for a school party and had what seemed like zero adult supervision. Kids were throwing multiple balls down the lanes, screaming, running all over the place…all the while, no parent or staff intervened. If yall are going to rent out that many lanes to children, it may be nice to just make them reserve the whole place. Or if not that, at least have a set standard of behavior.

  We came here for my mom’s birthday with a large group and overall had a great time. The atmosphere was fun and the staff was genuinely kind and friendly. However, one issue really needs to be addressed. Our lane attendant was overly quick to clear items—especially drinks. From early on, drinks were taken while we were still actively drinking them, and even one that hadn’t been touched yet was removed. Plates we were still using or that still had food on them were also cleared. At one point, they even took the stack of unused plates before everyone had a chance to grab one for pizza—so someone in our group had to eat without a plate, and we had to go ask for more. That shouldn’t happen. We understand the intent to keep things clean, but clearing items without checking first—especially drinks—is disruptive and frustrating. This is something that should be corrected, especially for group events. Still a fun place overall, but this detail took away from the experience and needs improvement.
