  Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning. From the moment I walked into Bouchée Patisserie, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was immediately told not to take pictures which I respected. Then I asked an employee if I could use the restroom, and she told me she didn’t speak English. She immediately went to her coworkers, and another employee came over and showed me where the restroom was. The whole interaction felt strange and dismissive. What really bothered me was the way I was being looked at and treated throughout my visit. I was wearing a hijab, and although I cannot say for certain that my appearance or religion was the reason, I absolutely felt singled out. I’m not going to make an accusation I can’t prove, but I also shouldn’t have to ignore how uncomfortable the experience made me feel. This is supposed to be a luxury hotel and bakery, yet I did not feel welcomed or respected as a customer. I expected basic courtesy and professionalism, and unfortunately I didn’t receive that. There are plenty of places in Houston where I can spend my money and feel welcomed. I won’t be returning here.

  Racheal provided an amazing pleasant experience at the post oak hotel Bouchée patisserie and recommended a fantastic tea called “yuzu ginger” Racheal was so friendly and helpful

  Cute hangout. They make affogato in a paper cup...bah hah... I declined afraid of a soggy cup. Many yummy looking sweets. Should add more savory choices. There is a fridge with salads but they are prepackaged (sigh). Gelato is really good. Borderline cheesy, fake french wannabe decor but cute and comfortable. Male waiters in azure/pale green color aprons make you smile...but they are attentive and polite. Parking is a bear. Make sure you get your valet ticket validated or you will pay more for parking than the check. I paid 8$ after validating... Will repeat.

  1 star I had a very disappointing experience at Bouchée Patisserie Café. I ordered a hot latte for dine-in, but I was first served an iced latte in a to-go cup. I politely asked for it to be changed to a hot latte. The employee nodded, but then gave me an unpleasant look. While preparing my order, I overheard him say, “She’s crazy,” which I found extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. When my drink was brought back, it was a hot latte in a to-go cup, even though I was dining in. I asked about it, and the employee explained that they only had one person washing dishes and couldn’t keep up because they were busy stocking up. I understand that restaurants can have operational challenges, and I appreciated his apology. However, if there were no clean dine-in cups available, that should have been communicated to me before my order was prepared so I could decide whether I still wanted the drink. Everyone makes mistakes, and I would have understood the initial mix-up. What made this experience unacceptable was being spoken about disrespectfully as a customer. Professionalism and basic courtesy should be maintained, even during busy periods.
