  Blue is one of the very few places in Houston that have a good variety of vegan sushis. I would highly recommend Crunchy Cabbage maki roll, Thai Hippie maki roll, Spicy Kaluna Crunch and Vegan Hot Pepper maki rolls. They also have a nice selection of cocktails and sake.

  We were shocked at how bad this place was as the reviews were great. The vibe was fun, the service good and fast. However, drinks were very weak and average $13-15, and the sushi was twice the price of better places with barely any visible fish in the maki. Two pieces of nigiri were $8 or more; sashimi would have been $16 for two pieces. Maki was about $16-25 and after three rolls, two drinks, and an order of unagi we spent $98 for probably less than an ounce of fish.

  Great food and menu but service was sub par went to lunch and not only did the server not return to check in she forgot my order and also served my drink in a glass that was totally cracked and chipped she took so long to return and then have the drink redone I had to leave and my guests as well. Very unprofessional service

  I liked the vibes here. They have interesting decor/art work that matched the atmosphere. There’s a bunch of seating- bar seating, outdoor seating, and tables. I thought the service was excellent. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and we were greeted upon arrival from the hostess. I got a few things off of the happy hour menu for lunch. The yellowtail Serrano was very salty. I think if it wasn’t as salty it would’ve been a better dish. All of the other dishes just weren’t for my palate but I think others may enjoy it.

  Had the best experience with Olivia at Blue Sushi Sake Grill. She was super attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made the whole dinner experience feel fun and effortless. Her recommendations were spot on, service was fast without feeling rushed, and she brought such a great energy to the table. Easily one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time.
